We'll Get Though This Together (A Rexsoka Fanfic)

Preparing

Fives groaned loudly, "Why me? Why me!" Echo was standing next to him laughing his butt off. Fives frowned, "It's not funny!"

"Yes it is!" Echo let out a wheezy laugh.

Fives scowled at his brother, "Well you're not the one who had a bomb explode in their bowels, causing...." he trailed off, "y'know," Him and Echo were in a medical bay room. He would've been in the barracks but the 'fresher room was to far away. There was one around the corner of the room he was in right now  incase he had another....emergency. "And besides, how would you feel if a volcano erupted and all the contents came out of your anus,"

"Pfffft. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I won't laugh anymore," Fives was still frowning. "Well, um, how did Rex and them react to your..situation," Echo had to get his mind off of laughing so his brother wouldn't rip out his throat.

"Fortunately, I exited the room before anything happened,"

"Ah. Y'know, everyone is going ask about this, maybe even talk about it. You'll be the one we gossip about," he said with a grin, "Also, that poor shiny,"

"Which one? Oh, you mean Vex,"

"Yeah. Did you not realize he asked you a question?"

"Huh? What do you know?"

"Well I pretty much watched the whole thing, but he asked you something, though I couldn't hear him, and you shoved the poor guy against the wall. He was left all shaken because a superior officer yelled 'move' and pushed him. You could've been nicer,"

"It wasn't my fault! It was, and still is, Rex's. Besides, I was so close to coming to a disaster. I'm glad my body went into control and not my brain, otherwise it would've been a hell of a lot more embarrassing,"

"It should've been more embarrassing," Echo started to walked towards the door, "Y'know, you'll need to watch your back for now on. You never know what will be lurking around the corner like— oh Rex!"

"'Like oh Rex?' Huh? Oh, hi Cap," Fives said with a scowl.

Rex appeared at the doorway and waved, "Hi, so listen, we've got that mission, will you be better?"

"Well I don't know, that all depends on you,"

"Me?"

"Yeah, will you pull more pranks, or will you leave it at this?"

"Oh, yeah no I'll probably do more, but you can thank Ahsoka for the candy," he said with a smile. "Would you like some more? 'Cause I can make that happen,"

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" Fives said, crossing his arms.

"As a matter of fact I do, but Kix told me to check on you and give you this," he handed a water canteen to Echo to give to Fives, "Also, Echo, could you stay here? Someone needs to watch him while I go check on Hardcase to make sure he hasn't burned down the place. Kix is working with someone at the moment so he's not available,"

"Yeah that's fine,"

"I'll— here," he pulled out a data pad and tapped the screen a few times, "This is all you need for the upcoming mission, go over it, see if you can make it better, study it,"

"Alright, will do,"

"Thanks, Echo,"

"Yeah, no problem,"

Rex nodded then smirked when Fives' eyes got big and he got out of the bed and took off towards the refresher room. He and Echo shared the same look and Rex shook his head. He turned and started to walk down to Hardcase's room. He sighed, crossing his fingers that he did cause a catastrophe or make a pipe bomb in the few minutes he was gone. Rex thought back to one time when Hardcase was left alone in a Medbay room. That was a mistake. He somehow managed to line the doorway with small firecrackers, so when it opened they went off in a Kix's face. And other time it was as if he used the room he was in as a science laboratory. No one knew what he was making because they quickly got rid of the evidence and didn't want to stick around to find out.
