"As long as you cannot fix the wrongs you commited, you will be cursed to walk this mortal plane for all of time," Link shouted.

"As long as you can't fix the sins you done, you are forbidden from leaving this world," was my retaliation.

"And under the eyes of goddess Hylia you will be." we finished at the same time.

I replayed the incident about six more times.

I peered between the bars of the cell as I heard the jangling of keys. The next noise was a door unlocking, and a guard came in a dragged me through the halls. I tried to keep up, but the way he was yanking on my arm I could barely stand upright. He brought me to one of the interrogation rooms and threw me inside.

You're three years late, buddy.

I realized somebody was at the table with me. I sat down, and Link eyed me up. The years had been kind to him. He was slightly taller, and had a healing scar on his left cheek. My white hair had grown untame, and my birthmark was completely visible. The baggy clothing I wore was slightly short at my waist, making the shirt just a little exposing. The pants never made it to my ankles; I could put my entire hand between my ankle and the leg of my pants.

"I think we can both agree we're tired of this curse." Link started.

"Yes."

"We need to work together to break it."

"Pardon?"

"I know you haven't, but I've been trying to break the curse on my own for years, and I can't even figure out what I've done wrong."

"I know you cast that curse spontaneously, I bet you probably saw it in a book somewhere and decided to use it. To break it, you need to right your greatest wrong." I informed him.

"Will you come with me?"

I raised my chained hands as a response.

"I'll pull a few strings." he said, and the guard brought me back to my cell.

He's just pulling my leg, that's what.

Right?
