Athanasia coughed as she felt her blood rising up her throat, threatening to spill. As she was dying, she thought how this was such a fitting end for an immortal princess like herself. All of her memories flashed before her eyes, her first encounter with her father, meeting Lucas, her debutante, Lily, Hannah, Ces, Felix, and Blackie. 'I wish I could see all of you again.. one last time before I go' thought Athanasia, as she coughed more blood.

Slowly, five minutes passed and the immortal princess let out her final breath.

The world tree

Lucas was staring up at the tree in frustration, as all he wanted to do was to obtain the fruit of the tree so he could back. As Lucas raised his leg to kick the tree one more time, his heart let out a pang of pain, and his mind fluttered with memories of Athanasia. Every word she had ever told him passed through his mind. Lucas clutched his heart as it was beating painfully, as if he had lost something.

"What is.. this? Why do I feel like my heart is being ripped open and shredded into pieces?"

Lucas shrugged off the feeling as best as he could, and focused at the task at hand. 'I have to return quickly' he thought dismissively.

In Garnet Castle, Claude's office

Claude was in the middle of finishing paperwork when he suddenly stopped. He felt this ominous feeling in the air and it was enough to take him to his knees. He saw a flurry of memories, faded, but in each he heard a distinctive voice, the same voice of the wench who had fled the castle days ago.

"Papa"

"Papa I have a wish.."

"Thank you, Papa"

"Because I am Papa's daughter"

"Papa why don't you remember me?"

Claude felt his head pounding, as a flurry of unknown memories fluttered through his head, but he could never see who the person was. The same silhouette appeared in every one of the memories. Claude's heart thumped painfully, and a single tear trickled down his face as he was confused. Claude had felt as if he had lost someone so important and there would be no way to bring them back.

Claude was astonished that this had even caused him to cry, even if it was a single tear, he hadn't cried since Diana's death, which he has also conveniently forgotten. Claude got up from his knees and went back to work. He paused occasionally and often spaced out staring at the door, as if he was longing for someone to walk through it. He had felt like he was missing a piece of himself.

The Emerald Palace

Lily, Hannah, and Ces were cleaning the missing princess' room when they all stopped and looked at each other. They had all started crying for an unknown reason, but deep in their hearts they knew that they had all lost someone precious

Garnet Palace

Felix stood outside of Claude's office, on guard as usual. When suddenly he was brought to his knees and he had felt like he had failed an important mission, to protect someone precious. His memories of Athanasia occasionally teasing him passed through his mind, and he was confused in why this was. However, Felix knew something was wrong, as he saw Miss Lily with tear stained cheeks and red puffy eyes.

They both shared a look, and then they knew something was wrong, and there was something wrong with Athanasia.
