Garnet Palace, Claude's chamber
Claude struggled to sleep, as every time he closed his eyes he saw the wench standing before him.
"Papa, I'm not ready to leave yet," the said wench said as Claude gave up sleeping and stared straight ahead. A ghost-like appearance of his so called daughter appeared before him, talking to him, as if he was no threat to her.
"Papa doesn't remember this but you used to tease me everyday about my chubby cheeks."
Claude ignored the girl, as all he wanted to do was to stop seeing her.
"Papa, do you know what happened today? I died." The girl smiled sadly.
Claude's head snapped to her in lighting speed, his eyes showing confusion.
"Hehe, but it's okay. All I need is a few more months and then I can leave. Papa, please try to remember me, ok?"
Claude's heart again thumped painfully, as she said this.
"What happened?" Claude croaked out.
Athanasia looked back at her father, shocked that he would even ask her that, seeing as he didn't care.
"Is daddy worried for me? Don't be, it is almost all over now. But since you will barely remember this dream, it's okay if I tell you." Athanasia said this while smiling, a carbon copy of Diana.
"I died today, because of the rebels. I'll allow you to remember that tiny bit about the rebels since you will need that. I was running away from them, as a group of them caught wind of my hair and told their partners. As I was running away, they had blocked off all exists of the alleyway leaving me trapped. I tried so hard to fight them, I really did. I even used magic, which was something I wasn't supposed to do. But in the end, I wasn't strong enough, since they had a very capable mage immobilizing me, allowing them the chance to stab me and end it all.
There I was left on the cold hard ground as my final moments speeded by."
Claude unknown to himself, had a grief stricken face as unexplainable rage coursed through his body. The desire to kill all was evident, and Claude could not control the mana that was threatening to spill.
"It's okay daddy, don't be mad. It doesn't matter anyways. All I wanted to do was to stay a few months to say goodbye and restore your memories. Papa, even though I might never get the chance to tell you, you were my very first dad, and I will always love you." Athanasia said this, as tears rapidly trickled down her face.
Claude, not knowing what to say, was in a state of shock over hearing her words and wanted to scream in frustration.
"Anyways Papa, this is the last time you'll see me in your dreams tonight, I need to go visit everybody else.
Goodbye, Papa."
Athanasia slowly faded away, as Claude snapped out of his trance.
"Wait, don't go!" yelled Claude, desperately trying to catch the fading figure.
Claude suddenly awoken, as he looked around his surroundings, forgetting the dream he had. When he tried to remember it, all he could recall was a few snip-its, but he could feel the raw pain and anger resonating from the dream he had just encountered.
A/N: Chapter two is up! I'm going to try to have Chapter three up tonight, and possible chapter four. Also, I'm going to try doing short chapters with many chapters, because it allows me to update faster.
Until next time!
