Brea had finished packing her things and now she laid in the living room of her family home. Her siblings were scattered across the house doing their own things. Brea had been texting her agent when she heard a knock on her door.
"I'm coming!" She said while climbing out of her warm spot of the sofa.
"Merlin's beard this better be good or I swear-" she ranted as marched over to the door before opening it.
"So when are we leaving?" The brunette asked casually as she pushed her suitcase into the house.
"Emma, what on earth are you doing here?" Brea asked her friend.
"Is that any way to greet your best friend." Emma asked before pouting.
"Hi Em." She chuckled with wide open arms as her best friend embraced her.
"Its been a few months hasn't it?" Emma chirped as she rubbed on some hand sanitizer.
"In my defense there was a global pandemic and the moment we got to leave the house, you had to go and film." Brea told her.
"I know I know."
"Emma...i love you but seriously what on earth are you doing here? I leave for my flight in a few hours."
"Well ever since... cough Tobias cough. You have been extremely gloomy and it's my duty as your best friend to make sure that you don't become an emotional wreck while your in Vancouver."
"Its been a year since him and I'm perfectly fine now." Brea assured, Emma wasn't convinced.
"Firstly your nose does that adorable twitch thing when you lie and secondly, heartbreak has no expiration date." Emma told her.
"So, what, you're coming with me to Vancouver while I film?"
"Yes, besides you've been part of this show for years and I haven't once met your other friends." Emma responded making Brea let out a laugh.
"Oh my word Grant is going to love this." She sighed. "Well grab a snack we leave in an hour."
