Courtney’s eyes scanned the shelves of beautiful bracelets. Some with no stones, some with pendants and delicate locks or hearts and then some covered in sparkling diamonds, catching the light so beautifully it took Courtney’s breath away.
She had always dreamed of wearing something like that. The bracelet was covered in small diamonds yet it didn’t look over the top at all, it just looked expensive and elegant. It took her breath away.
She could see Pattie wearing something like this. It would look beautiful on her, Courtney new it would take her breath away just as much as her own.
“Justin?” His name still made her stomach flip, remembering her surroundings.
She was shopping with the one and only, Justin Bieber. Her idol. The reason she had high expectations in men, even higher now that she had seen him in person.
“Yes, Courtney?”
Her stomach became a gymnast.
His cool hands held her arm as he stood slightly behind her, staring down at the cabinet before her.
“Did you like this one?”
“Whoa, you have quite the eye. It’s so beautiful.”
“I thought so. It has a way of looking elegant and expensive but never over the top, it’s basically the most perfect piece of jewellery I have ever laid eyes on.”
“It would look dazzling on you,” Justin complimented, deep in thought.
“Better on your mother,” Courtney blushed, wanting to push Justin on track.
She didn’t like him complimenting her, it was too overwhelming. Justin Bieber was not only talking to her but was complimenting her in many ways. This could surely not be real.
“Shall I get it then? How much is it?”
Courtney’s eyes widened and she realised she hadn’t even seen the price! She took a few guesses in her head. One thousand dollars maybe?
“Excuse me, may I help you?” A lady asked, wearing a deep blue uniform.
“How much is this bracelet?” Justin asked, his hand still wrapped around Courtney’s arm.
“That would be ten thousand dollars, sir.”
Courtney almost went into cardiac arrest.
“Great, cheaper than I had planned,” Justin murmured to himself before telling the lady he wanted to purchase the bracelet.
“Breathe Courtney, he can afford it. That money is nothing to him.” Courtney whispered to herself as she browsed the shop alone as she waited for Justin to finish up.
It came to Courtney’s mind that now he had found the gift he would leave and she would never see him again. Should she had dragged out the search for the bracelet for her own selfish reasons? No, that wouldn’t be nice. He probably had better places to be.
When Justin joined her, they left the store and continued browsing in stores, Justin asking the majority of the questions. He was in no rush to leave and that made Courtney calm knowing she didn’t have to say goodbye just yet.
“Have you ever been to one of my concerts?”
“No. Are you aware how hard it is to get tickets to your concerts?! I missed out for the My World Tour and for the Believe tour.”
“Really?” Justin’s eyebrows knitted together in a frown, “I could change that.”
“Huh?”
