Thanks to Mr. Briney, the gang arrived in Dewford Island and they had goodnight sleep in the Pokemon Center.

Now it's daytime, and the gang started to think on what to do now.

Day's have passed since the Rustboro Contest, and some of the gang's pokemon evolved.

May's Azurill evolved into a Marill.

Alain's Metang, Treecko, and Shiny Ralts evolved into a Metagross, Grovyle, and Kirlia.

Alya's Shiny Feebas, Mudkip, and Ralts evolved into a Shiny Milotic, Marshtomp and Kirlia.

Max caught a Zigzagoon for himself.

They also caught some pokemon.

Alya caught a Swablu, Serskit, and a Skitty.

Alain caught a Absol, male Eevee, and a Bagon.

May caught a Illumise, and a Volbeat.

"Ash the gym leader uses fighting types."Max informs Ash.

The gang are now walking to the Dewford Gym.

Ash nodded"Taillow and Treecko are the ones I'm gonna use."

"Good choice."Alain said.

They arrived at the gym, they saw the gym leader Brawly with a Makuhita beside him.

Brawly noticed them and came over"Hey! Are you guys challengers?"he asked.

Ash stepped forward"I'm here to challenge your gym Brawly."

Brawly nodded"Follow me then."

After Ash's defeat in the Dewford Gym, the gang was on their way to Granite Cave to find Steven Stone, the son of Mr. Stone.

"So this is the Granite Cave."Max said looking at the entrance of the cave.

"Amazing."Alya said while holding Eevee in her arms.

"Evui!"

They entered the cave, but they didn't noticed the hole upahead made by Team Rocket.

When they stepped in the hole, they fell and just then Jessie, James, and Meowth appeared below them.

"Caught you now twerps!"exclaimed Jessie.
