My Last Goodbye
He was my friend and always will be
Someone I cared for, that-he'll never see.
I wonder if he ever did realised...
The image of him I have memorised.
His sudden departure without "goodbyes"
Causes bitterness to dwell in my eyes.
I hear his voice, his laughter aloud
I see his face glowing & proud.
He had no dreams, no doubts & no worries
He lived his life without any sorry.
He thought no more of his future or past
He wasted his chances-they went by so fast!
He failed to achieve what they had expected
Though he did things his way & was proud of it.
He was funny, sweet & kind as a friend
All my love & best wishes unto him I send...
His life was like a seed in Winter
Yearning to grow but had no power.
He was the sun in the white-blue sky
He was a star, shining bright at night.
I pray for his soul to rest in peace
I pray that his troubles all be released.
Let him feel free, feel joy & loved
As he enters the door to the heavens above..
"My last goodbye, I'll say to you
With all my heart of words so true..
I miss you now, I'll miss you always
Forever I'll bethink those happy days!"
