You never got sick, until now
It was a rainy Saturday as you awoke, feeling super hot
Your throat hurt and you could not breathe out of your nose
Pete was still fast asleep as you rose from your bed
You made your way into the bathroom, trying to find the thermometer
You took your temperature, which was 100.5
You started brushing your teeth and after that, you made your way back to bed as you began to cough (it's not Covid) ;)
This woke Pete up as he began to stir
He looked over at you as he kissed your forehead, feeling the hotness of your forehead
"Is everything okay baby"
"I feel like shit"
After you said that, he lifted himself out of bed as he began to brush his teeth and somewhat get ready for the day
"I am going to pick up some stuff, I'll be back in a few," he said as he kissed your forehead once again
With that, he was at the store for almost an hour and when he returned, he had bought many things that made you smile
He had picked some medicine and cool towels, but he also bought some soup and some of your favorite snacks
He got back into bed with you and you cuddled next to him
Throughout the day, you both watched multiple movies on Disney+ and ate some snacks
Now Pete is the sweetest little human while you are sick
He worries about you the whole time and makes sure you are comfortable
"Do you need any more cool towels?" "Do you need more water?"
He also is willing to run you a bath and sits by the bathtub, caressing your face
He also gives you so many cuddles
"Pete, you're going to get sick if you continue to stay close to me,"
"I don't care, I want to make you feel better," "It will be worth it as long as you are better,"
Overall, he will spend every moment with you and make sure you are feeling better soon!
A/N: I hope you enjoyed! Expect one more part added to this story today, I am no longer struggling to write, it almost feels natural! Maybe now I am relaxed and less stressed, this is coming easy to me!
