I'm just jealous! (🌈💜)

I am so sorry that this is so late- I completely forgot it existed and it completely slipped my mind-

Purple was jealous. Very jealous. Rainbow and Blue have this perfect relationship and its...its good but...he wants to have a relationship like that with Rainbow...no..he wants more than what Rainbow and Blue have. They're best friends..he wants to be more than that with Rainbow, the one Steve who made his heart beat so fast by just looking at him and giving him a smile..such a precious smile. He and Blue Steve didn't get on well however. Whenever Blue tried to talk to him he would respond rudely to him which made him upset, obviously, and this had been happening all through their current adventure.

Currently they were midway through a forest of birch and oak trees, flowers all around. They were in a flower forest, a biome Rainbow loves. He ran around and played in the flowers, being overall very energetic as a young Steve would be. They all decided to have a break. Blue went over and sat by a tree, pulling out a book and quill, planning to write in it. Purple sat not too far away silently glaring at him and cursing at him under his breath. However he jumped when he heard Rainbow speak behind him, "Hey Purple, can I talk to you over here?" "Oh- of course Rain." Purple stood up, following Rainbow as they got out of earshot from Blue.

"So, what did you want to talk about, Rainbow?" Purple asked, awkwardly just kind of standing around, not really sure of what to say or do while being around his crush, "I wanted to ask..why are you being so rude to Blue? What has he said or done to you that has made you upset with him? I hate to see two of my closest friends being mean to each other.." Purple looked at him in suprise, Rainbow had noticed how he had been acting around and towards Blue? Oh..

Purple let out a sigh and awkwardly looked off to the side, glancing at Blue, before looking back to Rainbow, "Well?" Rainbow asked, crossing his arms, waiting for a response.

"..I'm jealous."

As soon as those words were uttered Rainbow held a look of confusion on his face, "..You're..jealous? Why?" "I'm jealous of how close you two are..I just.. I really want what you two have.. but..more." Rainbow tilted his head, looking almost like a lost puppy, "You're..jealous because of how close me and Blue are? You want..more than that? What does that mean?" Purple placed his hands on Rainbow shoulders, "Rainbow..I..I really just..I like you.." "Aww, I like you too!" "No! Not in..a just friend way.."

Rainbow looked confused again, "Best friends?" "No, Rainbow. I like you..as in I LIKE like you." A flood of colour rushed to Rainbow's cheeks the moment those words were uttered, "Wait..as in..romantically?" "Yes, Rainbow, romantically." Purple's face is covered in a blush.

"Well..I..I like you too, Purple." Purple's blush worsened, "You..you do?" "I do." Rainbow brought his hands up and rested them on either side of Purple's face, bringing his head in closer, their faces close. Both of their breaths mingled together, "I..I want you to kiss me." Rainbow spoke softly, gazing into Purple's eyes, love filling them.

Purple fulfilled Rainbow's request, connecting their mouths together, kissing him gently, pulling him in closer, he felt..happy. This felt right, so so right. They felt so in love with each other, happiness and love almost spilling out of them.

They pulled away when they heard a chuckle, looking over at Blue with wide eyes and flushed faces, "Get a room you two." "Bluuuue-"
