Kerry Ellis and her good friend Mazz were sat in Kerry's house. Mazz playing on her phone and Kerry reading the Sunday paper.
"Waiting for the call forever waiting for the call..." Kerry hummed under her breath.
"Kerry stop." Mazz snapped. She pushed her blonde hair out of her face and continued, "I have headache."
"Sorry.. I'm just really excited about this new musical." Kerry replied sheepishly, letting her gaze drift to the phone perched on the table inbetween the two.
Mazz nodded, "It's fine. Im excited too. So what was that you were singing eariler?"
"Oh it was just the Route to Happiness."
"Oh yes I think I remember that... you and Louise did it?"
"Yes and Ben." Kerry smiled, "Lou was in before us though, so I didn't get to see her."
"Oh what a shame. I'm sorry."
"Ahh it's fine." Kerry shrugged and slumped down in her seat. "We were all so busy we couldn't get in to record at the same time. Though I am glad I'm busy." She chuckled as the phone rang. She immediatley picked it up and read the caller ID, "It's my agent!" She clicked 'answer' and stood to take the call in another room.
Mazz sighed as she watched her friend exit the room and picked up the newspaper Kerry had been reading. "Bloody Hell!" Mazz exclaimed as she jumped nearly three feet in the air at the sound of her ringtone. She picked it up, "Hello?"
"Gina, hi there's been an offer-"
"Wrong number." Mazz chuckled.
"Oh is this Mazz?" The voice now sounded embarassed. "I'm sorry I think I've called the wrong-"
"Don't worry about it. Go on ahead and call Gina." She clicked the end button before he could say anything else. As happy as she was for her sister, it had been awhile since she had last been in a musical. And she missed it. Luckly Mazz wasn't left disappointed for long, mere seconds afterwards she got another call.
"Hi Mazz. I heard Gina's agent just called you, well I accidentally called Gina. Joe and I must've accidentally mixed up yours and Gina's numbers. Anyway I have news you-"
"MAZZ!" Kerry excitedly burst in to the room. "I got the-"
"Shhhhh!" Mazz put a finger to her lips and gestured to her phone. " No not you, it's just Kerry. Yeah I'm at her place. Anyway you were saying...? Really? That's great. Thanks, well I'll talk to you later." she said as she hung it up.
"I got the part in Poptastic!" They both said at the same time.
"Mazz we're going to be in a musical together again." Kerry exclaimed a happily.
She smiled. "I know."
"I'm so excited!"
"I can tell," She chuckled slightly amused.
"I cant wait! Apparently the entire cast is going to meet up tomorrow at the pub, the Red Lion tomorrow."
"Sounds good. I could use a drink..." Mazz muttered.
