Chapter 6 Missing Zumy

~Zuma POV~

"I can't believe Wocky did this to me. I thought he loved me. Bww....it's cold out hewe. Wwere am I?" I walked a bit more and soon found a cave, I rested there for a while, then I went off again. It started snowing, I wish I had boots on, it was freezing. The white snow was beautiful, but I could only think of one thing and that was Rocky.

~Rocky POV~

I followed his paws, but soon it started to snow, his tracks were starting to cover up. "Oh no, no, no! I need to find him." but it was no use, his tracks were covered up. I sat down in the snow, I didn't know what to do. I think only about one thing and that's him. I remember the day I first met him.

2 years ago

It was 3 weeks since I joined the Paw Patrol and Ryder still needed more pups to join his team. Me, him, Chase and Marshall were looking around for stray pups. Chase and Marshall went into the city and me, and Ryder went around the beach. Ryder left me search around the beach, while he went to join Chase and Marshall.

Finally I saw two pups on the beach, one of them was on the sand and the other was swimming. I've never seen a dog swim before, well besides me. I walk up to them. "Hello!" I say. The puppy on the sand looked at me and the one in the water came out. "Hi" said the small pup nervously. "What do you want?" "Well I noticed you are an awesome swimmer" I turned to the brown lab. "I'm Rocky, what's your name?" "I'm Zuma and this is my bwothew Wex" he said. I noticed that he couldn't pronounce the letter "r". "Do you have an owner?"I ask while looking around. "Only I do," said Rex. "Yeah, only he does. I'm a stway. But I see him quite often." Zuma said. "Well, maybe it's your lucky day. I'm a part of a team called Paw Patrol and we are looking for other pups to join so we can go on missions around the city and save people, and you are perfect if we have water missions." The chocolate lab looked at Rex, then looked back at me. "Well, I suppose it's betwew than the stweet." "Yes it sure is. So what do you say? Would you like to join?" I don't know why but I kinda wanted him to say yes. "Come on Zuma, say yes." Rex told him. "Okay, I'll join!" I smiled. "Great! I must introduce you to Ryder, the team leader." "Okay." He hugged Rex and we went towards the lookout.

Ryder, Chase and Marshall were already there. "Hey ya'll, I think I found the perfect member for water missions." "Where is he?" Chase asked before starting to laugh. I looked around. "He was right here, I swear." The pup was gone, I ran off to the beach and I saw him swimming in the water. "Hey! Why did you leave me!? You made me look like a fool!" The lab got out of the water. "I'm sowwy Wocky. I got scawed,I think I won't fit." "Nonsense, of course you will! Even if you don't, you'll always have me!" "Aww, thanks dude. If you want I'll come with you." We went back and Ryder was there. "So is this the pup you were talking about Rocky?" "Yes Ryder, he is an amazing swimmer. The best I've ever seen." I looked towards him and he had blushed, he was trying to hide it though. "Well, um I didn't get your name." Ryder said. "It's Zuma." "Well Zuma, after a test or two you may join the Paw Patrol." Ryder said. "Oh thank you so much!" Zuma jumped with joy. "For now I don't have an extra pup house so Rocky, can he Zuma sleep with you?" I blushed, but hid it. "Of course Ryder."

Zuma passed the tests and stayed in my pup house for 2 weeks, we got very close. After me and Ryder finished his pup house, he moved in. I had got used to him being in my pup house and after he left it was a bit lonely at first. But I got used to it.

Back to the present

I walked around and I finally had an idea. "How could I be so spupid, I can call Ryder!" So I quickly tapped my pup tag. "Ryder, do you hear me?" "Yes Rocky, I do. Is something wrong?" the boy asked. "Yes, Ryder. Zuma Is missing. He ran away." "Why did he?" the boy asked, a bit confused. "He saw Everest kiss me and thought I didn't love him anymore. So he left a letter and is now gone. I need your help to find him" "Okay Rocky, we'll be all there soon!"

~Ryder POV~

I hope Zuma is okay. "Paw Patrol to the lookout" "Ryder needs us" the pups said. They soon came up to the command centre. "Paw Patrol, ready for action Ryder Sir." "Okay pups, this time we have a more personal mission. Zuma ran away after he saw Everest kiss Rocky and thought Rocky doesn't love him anymore. So I'll need Skye to look from the skies." "Let's take to the skies." "Chase I need your drone to look too." "Chase is on the case, Ryder Sir!" " Everyone else came to help as well. Paw Patrol on a roll!

~Rocky POV~

I was waiting for the pups and Ryder to come. After a few more minutes they came. "Thank god you're all here." "Chase get your drone out, Skye go look around from above." Ryder ordered. He looked towards me. "Don't worry Rocky, we'll find him and everything will be okay." "Thanks Ryder, I'll go look too." So I left and went towards the paths. Then I saw a cave, there were snow paws left inside. "I bet Zuma has been here, but where is he now?" I continued going down the path.

~Zuma POV~

I had no idea where I was, I looked around and everything looked the same, everything was covered in snow. "Bwwww, it's so cold and it huwts my paws now." But my broken heart hurt more. "I can't believe he did this to me" I said to myself before starting to cry again. Then I saw something up ahead. Was that Everest? Oh dear, it was. "Zuma!" she yelled. "GO AWAY!" I scream back. She came closer. "I can explain." "You can explain how you stole my boyfwiend? Well keep it!" "No no it was a..." but before she finished I pushed her out of my way and she rolled down the mountain. "Stupid b*tch, I was wight to never twust her." Soon it started to snow more and more, I was cold and then I saw the top of the mountain. I remembered that me and Rocky had our first date there. "I hate that mountain top, it was our first date....but wait, we left wood and a tent up there!" I ran up and made a small fire and went into the tent. Soon I fell asleep.

~Rocky POV~

As I walked up I saw something roll down the mountain towards me. "Everest?" "Look OUT ROCKY!" He crashed into me and sent me flying into a pile of snow. "What the hell Everest?" I said. "Rocky...s-sorry. Zuma pushed me off, before he called me a b*tch." "I could sure say the same." I say without her hearing.

"So where is he now?" I asked. "I don't know, he pushed me off like 5 minutes ago, he's probably not far though." "Until we get to the top, he'll be gone! You go to Ryder and tell him that I'll find Zuma, they are probably at Jake's, because it's very cold and there is too much snow!"

"Okay." and she left. "Thank god she's gone. Now time to find my love!"

Thank you all for the support! I'm sorry to say that there isn't much left, a few more chapters and done. I know it's a bit short and I know I rushed the events and stuff. So that's why after I finish this story (probably by the end of the week), I'll be starting another story, but the pups will be humans. I'm still planning it, but it will come soon after this one ends.
