chapter 9: scared cuddles!

Daddy POV:

I was putting Gianna to sleep when there was a flash of lighting, i mentally cursed myself knowing a storm was coming and didn't know if she was a storm person, but i was, i loved stormy nights.
" not tired " she whined as she fought to keep her eyes open,
" sure your not " i said smiling as i rocked her side to side patting her bottom. " paci " she whined as i walked to her dresser, and grabbed a black pacifier with the words ' babygirl ' on it.

i shushed her a lightly bounced her around the room as she slowly but surely fell asleep, as i set her down there was a loud BOOM of thunder making her jump a little and grip onto my shirt " daddy " she said slowly opening her eyes,
" shh its alright go to bed " i said kissing her forehead as she just whined and turned o her side falling asleep again. I turned on her night light and turned on the baby monitor slowly walking out

Gianna POV:

i was peacefully sleeping when light flashed on my face making me squint a little then loud boom sound made me jump! i was kind of scared, then a few seconds later there was another one making me squeal, i didnt realize i had wet my pull up until i realized it was leaking, my bed sheets were kind of wet and it wasnt the best feeling. i tried getting out but the bars didnt let me.

i had no choice but to call daddy, i was so embaressed i didnt want him to see me like this but i didnt want to be sitting in this wet pull up " daddy " i said out loud, it was silent nothing but the flash from outside-

i hated storms they were my biggest fears, i knew they couldnt hurt me they just scared me. BOOM " DADDY! " i shouted thats when tears started coming down my face, i hid under the blanket curled up in a ball screaming " DADDY DADDY " one more time, i heard him running down the hall then my door opening, " daddy " i cried making grabby hands for him as he rushes to pick me up,

" whats wrong princess " he said as i just cried in his neck hearing one more loud boom!, " awe baby, are you scared of the storm " he said as i nodded holding onto him tightly,

" come on lets go change this leaky pull, lets get you in a warm bath " he said as he picked up extra pajamas and a new pull up and my towel, he set me on the floor and put all my stuff on sink counter, do you want me to leave, turn around? " he asked as i shyly shook my head, i was kind of shy but i was to scared and didnt want to be alone.

he turned on the bath and let it run letting it fill, about a minute later it was filled up " can you wash yourself " he asked as i nodded and slowly pulled off my shorts, i got shy as i was about to take off my pull up when he turned around making me blush a little

i got undressed and got in, it was nice and warm and relaxing. when i heard another boom on lighting
" mm' daddy " i whined reaching out for him not caring that my chest was in his view, he smiled leaning against the tub holding my hand and wiping my tears

" daddy's not going to let anything happen to his baby " he said making me smile a little and blush, " now lets get you cleaned up, yeah? " he said as i smiled passing him the bath rag, 

he put some of my strawberry body wash on the rag and started at my shoulders and neck, moving down to my chest as i blushed a little bit, then to my stomach, i was getting a little tense as he slowly moved down but his eyes met mine when we was about to clean my private parts,

" do you want me to or.. " he asked as i shyly nodded spreading my legs a little letting him clean me, it was kind of embarrassing and my cheeks were rosy red, after he rinsed my body but finally it was over, he unplugged the drain and helped me out the tub leaving me wrapped up in my towel.

i was thinking of the thought of going back to sleep in my room! i didnt want to sleep alone, not when it was storming, " daddy " i mumbled as he hummed in response helping me with my pull up as i covered my chest, " i sleep wif you " i said quietly as he looked up at me smiling and pulling up my shorts, " if your that scared of course you can bub "  he said as i smiled and quickly pecked his cheek, he was the one blushing now!

after he got me dressed he went to my room grabbing my dirty sheets and keeping them in a basket he had in there " we will clean this all up tomorrow come on, its 2 in the morning " he said as i nodded making grabby hands, he picked me up putting me on him hip and i tied my legs around his torso putting my head on his shoulder,

once we got to his room he laid me on the bed and got on the other side, " im guessing this is going to be your side of the bed huh " he said as i giggled but soon squealed hearing the thunder
" m'scared daddy " i said cuddling into his chest as he shushed me and ran his fingers through my hair

" hey remember what daddy said, he wasnt going to let anything happen to his baby girl, do you wanna know why " he asked as i smiled looking up at him " why " i asked as he slowly kissed my forehead

" because its my job, to comfort you, to care for you, to love you and to be your daddy and to love you " he said as i smiled looking into his beautiful eyes

" you said love me twice  " i said as he nodded " i know, loving you is my main job, and im doing a good job huh " he said as i smiled nodding, " you love me? " i asked as he smiled and nodded " we haven't known each other for that long and i mean i kind of kidnapped you, but i really do love you baby, " he said making my heart melt and beat faster " well, i uh, i love daddy too " !!!
