Chappy II · The Runaway

Taylor and Lilith are laying on Taylor's bed talking about what they hate about their lives and how they wish they could run away. Taylor goes downstairs to get a glass of water leaving Lilith alone in her room. Lilith was thinking about how this could work (By that we mean how they could run away). Taylor walks back upstairs to find Lilith hyped up about her plan to run away they talk about it for a while and figure out when and where to do it. After a while, the two girls hear the doorbell ring. "Our first guest is here," Taylor said as she got up and left the room, Lilith followed shortly after. They both descended the stairs and headed to the living room. Taylor went to answer the door while Lilith went to the kitchen. When Taylor opened the door she was not surprised it was Georgia. Georgia walked past Taylor and went into the kitchen with Lilith.

The two girls stayed together for the entire party. Then it was time for James to cut the cake, everyone surrounded him and the cake. The girls took this opportunity to grab their bags, their mother's wallets and went out the back door. The two girls ran and ran till they could not run anymore. Finally, they found a large field, a barn, and a church that they could see from a distance. Once the two girls made it to the barn it was already starting to get dark. Lilith found some blankets while Taylor made a small bed out of hay. The two girls climbed into their bed and fell asleep. Once they fell into a deep sleep the sky had been pitch black.

While they were asleep Taylor had a horrible nightmare. Taylor and Lilith were running into the barn and fell asleep like what happened not too long ago. When Taylor woke up Lilith was gone, the room slowly grew dark and all Taylor could hear was this horrid screaming from all around her it got louder and louder until she woke up. Lilith and Taylor woke up at the same time, they were breathing heavily and they were in a cold sweat. They looked at each other with panicked faces and said at the same time "Did you see it too?"
