when I woke up I felt the boys squishing me like a sandwich "boys..." I groaned "what.." Alex said back "you're squishing meee" I said "sorry bro" Alex whispered letting me get through when I went to the kitchen I heard whimpering and soft sobs I went upstairs to see who was making the noise when I followed the noise realized it was Julie I kneeled beside her "your okay shhh," I said softly "L-L-Luke" she woke up crying a little bit harder "shhh" I whispered as she cried into my shoulder "your okay I'm here now," I said rubbing her back "your right..." she said wiping her tears with her pajama sleeve "so what was your nightmare about," I asked sitting on her legs "C-C-Caleb" she looked so scared "oh Jules you know your safe plus Alex would kick his ghost butt," I said making her giggle as I used my thumb to wipe her tears "s-stay," she said I nodded and crawled in holding on to her waist protecting her from any more nightmares
*the next day*
the next day I feel a ray of light on my face then I hear chuckling I sit up to see who it is as I see the two dorks Alex and Reggie "I ship it" Reggie said as Alex nodded in agreement "shh she's sleeping!" I said through gritted teeth as they did a zipper motion and left once I flopped back down facing Julie I saw her awake "hey" she said grinning "good morning" I said flashing her a smile "let's go see what Reggie is cooking" I said chuckling "HIM? COOKING IN MY KITCHEN NU UH NO WAY!" she said stomping as the smoke alarm went off I rushed downstairs then started coughing "dude..what..were..you..cooking?!" I said coughing as Julie opened the door to let out the smoke then all of a sudden Alex has an asthma attack "LUKE INHALER!" Julie ordered I nodded and tossed the inhaler to her
"in and out buddy," Julie said to calm him down he nodded slightly as he inhaled Julie injected the medicine into his lungs "thanks Jules," he said "anytime Alex," she said "now how bout you three go play Frisbee in the yard while I make proper breakfast," she said as we nodded and got our jackets and headed outside "CATCH LUKE!" Alex hollered "I got it I got it I-" I fell backward as my ankle hit a rock hard "ow ow ow!" I said cradling my foot "MAN DOWN I REPEAT MAN DOWN" Reggie said "now's not the time Reginald" Alex said opening the door a crack "JULIE LUKE'S HURT" Alex yelled
Julie POV
I turned off the stove and ran outside seeing Luke hurt "Luke!" I yelled "Alex help me carry him," I said as Alex nodded Koda started barking he knew that someone was hurt when we set Luke on his bed and got my First aid kit "does this hurt?" I said pinching his toes "nope.." he said, "how about here.." I asked pinching his ankle "YUP OK PLEASE STOP OWWW" he yelped in pain I frowned "Luke I think you sprained your ankle" I said wrapping his foot in a bandage "but- but but" he said "no buts mister you at bed rest for two weeks " "aww man"
