I am woken up by Sky flying on top of me and screaming to the top of her lungs. "GOOD MORNINGGG! I got you your favorite drink from Dunkin! Are you ready for our big day?" She hands me my coffee and I take a few sips as I listen to her go on about the different things she is excited to do today. I've never heard her so enthusiastic about anything before.

"Hell yeah Sky! I'm sooo excited!" We get off my bed and go into the kitchen so I can start breakfast. She sits at the island and we continue talking about and planning our day. Sky has always been more rigid and always needs a plan, but I've always been one to go with the flow. So she is doing most of the talking.

We eat our breakfast and separate to start getting ready. I can feel my anxiety begin to rise. Like I'm super excited, but I'm super nervous too. I mean this is the biggest thing we have done since we moved here about a year ago, but I try to shake it off and begin to get ready. I grab my towels and robe, connect my phone to the speaker, and get in the shower.

After my shower, I sit down at my vanity with my robe on and my hair up in a t-shirt. Since I'm feeling pretty anxious and we have plenty of time, I decided to do a little bit of self care. I put on a face mask while I exfoliate, shave, and lotion my body. I wash off my face mask, brush my teeth, and start my makeup.

I prefer more natural makeup so my freckles can really pop. Once I'm finished, I rummage in my closet to try and pick out an outfit. I chose to be comfortable with a pair of leggings, an oversized distressed Blink-182 t-shirt, and an oversized flannel over top. I leave my hair down, but grab a scrunchie just in case.

I look outside to see the sun starting to set and walk into Sky's room to check on her. She was freaking out about her outfit because she has convinced herself that the Traphouse boys were actually going to be there. She ended up choosing one similar to mine, in her own style, so she was still cute but also comfortable enough to explore. We pack up our backpacks together, making sure we get all of our items in it, and go out to my car to begin our journey.

After about 25 minutes, we finally arrive at the asylum. We park the car down the street, do an intro before getting our flashlights out and sneakily trying to get to the spooky building in front of us. Sky is first and I am behind her with the camera, vlogging our way in. We find a broken window in the back and decide to go in that way since going through the front is very risky. The window opens up to what was one of the hallways that was lined with different hospital rooms. It was already pretty scary, but we kept walking around and vlogging until we found what looked like a waiting room, and we decided the set up home base.

We have our sleeping bags laid out and set up all of the equipment, when we hear footsteps and talking in the distance. Sky and I shoot a quick look at each other with nothing but fear in our eyes. "Hello?" Sky screams out into the darkness, but we get no answers. The footsteps grow closer. The talking grows louder. "Hello?" She screams again.

"Hello?" The darkness says back to us, but this time the noise was right outside our room appearing as a flashlight blinding us. Everyone pauses for a second.

"COLBY BROCK!" Sky screams while jumping up and down. It was him. Like the same guy from Target. Oh no, the feeling is back.

"Hiiii." He says out of surprise when she comes out of no where and wraps her arms around his torso. I take her off of him and we make eye contact. He looks at me for a second before saying, "It's you. You are the girl from Target. What are you all doing here?"

"Ummm. Yes, I guess it is. My name is Alex and this is Skylar, or Sky. We have a YouTube channel together where we explore abandoned places and we have been planning to do this one for almost a year now so here we are." I ramble on while being overwhelmed and trying my best to avoid eye contact.
