Today was the day. It had been about three months since the day you had told him that you were pregnant. He and Bepo had spoken to you almost every day after that day over the den den mushi.
He could finally see you again, and if he had calculated the timeline you had given him correctly, that would mean that you were about four months pregnant. He would be lying if he said that he wasn't excited to see you and the kid you had incubating.
Honestly, he had been so excited that he had been losing sleep, (like he had ever gotten any real sleep in his entire life). But today, he would be able to see your lovely face.
"Captain! We'll be docking soon!" He had heard Shachi yell.
"Mmm" there was nothing that he could really say, and there was nothing he wanted to say. He just wanted to be on your island.
"Finally, we'll be above water soon!" Bepo sure would be happy when they docked, too. It was always too hot and stuffy, especially as someone who has fur as well as clothes on.
As soon as the submarine ascended out of the water, Bepo made a mad dash for the deck, relieved to finally have some nice, cool air.
It was especially helpful that you lived on a fall island, between the summer and winter islands. The air was cool, the breeze was nice, you would get the occasional rain, and the colors were all so pretty. The island was truly serene.
Law hadn't had a second thought about letting you stay in a place like this, it was a nice and calm environment for you and your soon to be born baby, and it had just about the nicest people that the world could offer as it's citizens.
The only downside was that the island wasn't very pirate friendly, so whenever he went there, he and his crew would have to keep a low profile.
As they were near the docs, everyone gathered on the deck together to await instructions from their captain.
"Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi, you're with me! Everyone else scout for supplies, but I need you to keep a low profile."
"Aye Captain!" Everyone said as the submarine was docking in a more secluded area of the island.
Law knew this island like the back of his hand, and he would let the others explore and get a feel for it while he went to visit you. From this side of the island, it was about a twenty minute walk to your little home at the edge of the Forrest, but to him, it was worth all of the labor in the world. As he walked the quiet pathways, leaves crunched satisfyingly underneath his shoes. It was a little chilly today, but it was nothing that he and his black and yellow hoodie couldn't handle.
He could still smell the salty air that wafted from the sea, and it was such an enjoyable experience, just being here. No wonder the people on this island were so kind, the atmosphere was incredible.
He hadn't realized that his train of thought had gone on for the entire walk to your house until he realized that he was in front of the little red and white gate in front of the stone pathway to the front door.
You lived in such a cute little cottage. Plants had almost completely covered the front side, and the moss lawn in the front was so smooth. The red accents on the house went so well with the atmosphere and the cadence of the house.
To his surprise, you came out of the door to greet them. He took the time to analyze the state that you were in. You had on an oversized gray sweatshirt, a pair of black stretch pants, and yellow boots (that you had probably rushed to put on before you came out of the door. He smiled, you were so effortlessly adorable.
"Good morning everyone! Welcome!" It had been so long since he had heard your voice in person, and it was so fulfilling to hear you so cheerful.
"Good morning, Y/N-ya." He smirked.
"Y/N-San!! Hiiiiiii!" Bepo seemed happy to see you as well, well if you couldn't see that just from his enthusiasm, then the gentle bear-hug that he gave you should have been a clear indicator.
"Hi, Bepo. I've missed you, friend." There were tiny tears in your eyes. Ah, that must be the hormones. You weren't usually this sensitive.
"Come in, come in! I've prepared tea!" "You shouldn't overwork yourself, Y/N-ya." "It's not much trouble, Law. You shouldn't worry so much." You said with a slight giggle.
You walked into your home with the four men in tow and told them to have a seat on your couch. It was a pretty little thing, the beautifully deep green color, and the warm pink and matching green pillows that were lain seemingly haphazardly on it added to the quaint piece of furniture.
Actually, every piece of furniture in your home was immaculately chosen and placed. It seemed like there couldn't be a more perfect home, but that was expected of an expert interior designer like yourself.
"Y/N-ya, I want you to meet Penguin..." the man in the black and white hat waved at you with a wide grin on his face. "...and Shachi. They're my crew mates." "Nice to meet you, Y/N-Chan." The man with the orange hat said as he stuck out his hand to shake yours. You shook his hand and smiled.
"When was your last checkup, Y/N-ya?" Law interjected. You couldn't help but bashfully scratch the back of your head. Damn, you had forgotten that you were supposed to have your monthly checkup yesterday.
"When you said that you all would be here soon I was so excited that I forgot about the appointment, hehe~"
"Checkup? For what?" Shachi was confused. Oh, that's right, not everybody knew that you were pregnant, just Law and Bepo, and you thanked your best friend for the sentiment and secrecy because you knew that you could never let word get out that you were with child, or else Don would use the kid as a tactic to hold you forever.
"I'm pregnant, Shachi-San." "But you don't look it at all!" He and Penguin seemed to be shocked at the new information. "Yeah, I mean, this hoodie is pretty big, I don't think anyone would see my stomach." You looked down as if observing the material wrapped around your body.
"You should allow me to give you a checkup, Y/N-ya." "Sure, why not?" Law stood from the couch and walked over to you.
"Is there any place that you would feel comfortable getting a checkup in?" You thought for a moment, hand on your chin. "Maybe in the bathroom? I could sit in the counter, and maybe we can catch-up in the meantime." You finished with a smile.
"Alright then, lead the way."

You sat on the smooth marble countertop, sweatshirt pushed above your stomach, and the cool (extremely cold plz hellllp) stethoscope pressed against your slightly bulging tummy.
"The heartbeat's a little quiet, but it's steady." This made you slightly panic, was there something wrong with your kid?
Law seemed to see the worry on your face. "I only said the heartbeat was a little quiet. It's nothing to worry about Y/N-ya, you've just got a little softy in there, is all." He chuckled and reassured you.
Yeah, you were happy that he had come to see you.
