"no wait, don't go-" yn breathed as her closest friend was running away from her almost lifeless body. "mark please stay!" she tried to keep him by her side. "i'm sorry yn. i really am. but i can't do this anymore. i can't get myself in trouble to save you. i'm sorry" he said, a tear escaping his eye. "goodbye yn."
"NO!" you screamed opening your eyes and realizing everything that happened was nothing but a dream. You saw someone kick the door open. "ARE YOU OKAY?" Mark, your bestestestest friend asked you and you nodded negatively. "what happened?" he asked you in a calm tone and sat next to you on the bed. "i had another nightmare, mark." you whispered, too scared to actually speak normally. "don't worry, i'm here, noone can hurt you." he replied.
"and what if YOU hurt me? What will happen then?" You asked him, scared he was going to leave you just like it happened in your dream. "Y/n, are you serious? I've been next to you for almost 20 years now, you think I'm gonna hurt you?" He asked surprised and made you sit on his lap. You buried your head in his chest as he was caressing the back of it. "I'm sorry i asked that." You said.
"It's okay. Do you want us to do something to keep your mind busy or do you wanna go back to sleep?" He asked you once again and you replied a simple "sleep" . Mark lied you down and placed his body next to yours, wrapping his arm around you once again and pulling you close to him. "I'll always be here for you, please keep that in mind." He whispered in your ear, as he was putting a strand of your hair behind it. "I love you." you whispered under your breath.
He immediately stopped his gentle caressing and next thing you knew was that he was kissing you. His lips were so soft and plumpy, you were slowly melting into the kiss without even realizing it. He broke it for both of you to catch your breath and looked at you, eyes sparkling. His hand made its way to your cheek. "I love you too yn."
