Melanie:
As soon as I finished working, I got my coat and went out of the building. I called the cab to pick me up. I was in America at that moment. Hi. My name is Melanie. I am the boss of the financial part of The Romanov Empire. The Russian Mafia. I am not a mafia princess or anything like that. My parents are left in my dark, old, and meaningless past. Who cares about that. I need to concentrate on my future and not live in my past.

My boss is Vlad. He is also the boss of The Romanov Empire. Everyone is afraid of him but I actually don't give a damn about him. He knows what he's doing and that is enough for me. He has a son - Andrew. Total dick. But actually, he is my good friend at the same time. And a daughter - Cristina. She is just a spoiled mafia princess and she is that annoying that even her own father doesn't want to see her. But as far as she gets money to go shopping - everything is fine with her. Vlad's wife died a long time ago when Cristina was a baby.  But who cares. This night is an important one. We have to ally with the Italians, French, and Americans.  If I am not there, the whole deal will sink. Why? Because they will all mess up without me. And one more person actually. Ilya. He is my best friend, a professional lawyer, and a loyal friend.

I went home. My house is a modern apartment in a big building. Actually, I live quite well. Every single detail in my house is made or out of wood, or out of metal, or is black, or gray, or white and wooden. It is impossible to find anything in a different color in my house if we don't count the clothes.  Sometimes I like to wear green shirts.

You know, my life was never easy. I always had to crawl my way to achieve anything. I mean like ANYTHING. While Cristina always had everything she wanted and that is unfair. Some people have to suffer for something while others get it for free. But what can you do? Nothing! Life IS unfair and you can do nothing about it. Just live with it. Don't get me wrong. I am not jealous of Cristina. I will never be. She is spoiled and a bit dumb. No. Very very dumb. Who cares about her anyway? She is just a pain in the ass and that's all.

I went to the shower. Washed my hair and body. Suddenly, when I got out of there I looked at myself in the mirror. Chestnut brown curly hair, gray eyes, big, fluffy, and pink lips that were way too big. Or no. You decide. "I am a tall 22-year-old woman. I am mighty. I can achieve anything. Absolutely anything." I went to my room and found the dress I had to wear. It did not cover my shoulders. It was a very elegant, vantablack dress. At the same time, it is very comfortable. Tried it on - it is perfect. Of course. What did I expect?

I left the apartment behind. Sat in the driver's seat and started the engine. The wonderful sound of the engine went through my body. I felt wonderful. My Vantablack Lamborghini Veneno started perfectly. It fit my dress perfectly. This car is perfect. This evening will also be perfect. I know that. I'm going 85MPH and feel good. Already 95MPH. Okay, I should slow down a little. As soon as I did that, I saw the destination point. The giant house of Gallos. Gallo - the Italian mafia surname. Jégou - is the French mafia surname. Murphy - the American surname. We were going to ally this evening if the Gallos did not mess something up. They are often looking for loops everywhere and that's why they often get rid of actually good contracts that can make their empire even bigger. I stopped my car, looked at myself in the mirror, and got out of there. As soon as I  approached the door a servant came up to me and opened it. I thanked him and entered the room.
