ITS COMPLICATED

one

I woke up and hopped in the shower

The warm water hit my skin as I let out a breath

Today was already a good day

I got out and grabbed a pair of clothes

it was kinda chilly in LA

I walked out of my closet and downstairs

I heard my puppy whining with excitement

I got a puppy a couple months ago and she was so cute

"Hello aren't you so adorable Sayde"

She was an 6 month old Australian german shepherd mix

She jumped up on my leg

I gave her a scoop of food as she ran to where her bowl goes

"K sit"

I told her as she did

"Good girl"

I told her as I praised her before setting the bowl down

I just moved to LA not too long ago but I have a really nice apartment

I only have one friend and her name is Alexis but she's in New York for college

I tucked my hair behind my ear

"You wanna go to the dog park"

I asked sayde

She wagged her tail

There was a dog park not to far from here that I found while exploring

It's mostly empty and if it's not it's older people with their dogs

I grabbed her harness and leash as I put them on her

"You ready"

I asked as she did cute little excited circles

Oh the way to the park I grabbed an iced coffee from Starbucks

We arrived at the park and I could tell she was excited

I brought her out as I also brought one of her favorite balls

I walked in not paying attention to anyone else

I walked to a bench and sat down letting sayde off her leash to play around

She ran off and started playing with this grey pit bull

She was so small compared to him

They came running over to me

The pit sat by my feet

" well hello there"

I said as he licked my leg

I smiled and continued to play with him

He was so sweet

He then jumped on my lap as I laughed

" Shark get off of her"

A girl scolded him as she walked over

" im so sorry he got ur jeans dirty"

She apologized

" no don't worry about it he's adorable"
I stated as she smiled

I looked at her finally and wow she was stunning

"Dude your hair is sick"

I told her

She had green roots and black hair

"Thank you"

She said smiling

she leaned over and pet her dog

"what's your puppies name"

she asked

"Sayde"

I said

"that's so cute mine's is shark"

she said

"awe"

I said

"you live around here"

she asked

"yeah I live up the block that way"

I told her

"oh same"

she said

"I'm Tayden"

I said

"Billie"

she said as we shook hands

"they seem to like each other"

she said as we watched our dogs play

"wanna exchange numbers so they can play again"

she asked

"yeah sure"

I said as I pulled out my phone

"Here"

I said as we changed phones

"Nice meeting you Tayden"

she said

"come on shark lets go home"

she said calling her dog

i waved as she left

not gonna lie she's really cute

"go get the ball Sayde"

i told her as she ran towards the ball
