"What did you do to Wei Ming?"
The sudden unexpected question froze Cheng Hao on his stand, not knowing how to answer. Would the actor get angry if he admitted that it was his doing? Would he scold him in front of everyone as it was him who gave the role to Wei Ming?
Oh damn, Cheng Hao wanted to slap himself. See? It was what happened when you mixed your personal feelings into your job.
"I am still waiting for an answer," Luo Hua took a step forward and reduced the distance between them, "and don't try to lie to me as I saw you following Wei Ming with my own eyes."
"I just..." Cheng Hao started, "warned him not to spoil the scene again," he spilled it out.
"Why?" Luo Hua asked while staring intently at the bodyguard.
"You were shivering so bad and as your bodyguard, I thought it was my responsibility to eliminate the threat."
Luo Hua gaped, hearing his words. It was such a thoughtful act, so he was touched. He coughed a few times to hide his astonishment, then asked "eliminate the threat?"
"I didn't touch him!" Cheng Hao clarified hastily, making Luo Hua burst into laughter.
"He is such a coward, right?"
"So, you believe me?" Cheng Hao asked with hesitation.
"Of course," was Luo Hua's answer which was accompanied with a nod.
"And you are not angry with me?"
"No, I am rather thankful," the actor smiled sweetly before sneezing loudly.
Being afraid that the actor would get sick, Cheng Hao grabbed his arm and dragged him to the dressing room and in fifteen minutes, the duo was in the actor's car, going back home with soft music on the radio and frequent sneezes from Luo Hua.
"What shall I order for dinner?" Cheng Hao asked Luo Hua who was lying on the sofa with his eyes closed.
"I don't feel like eating," Luo Hua answered with a hoarse voice. His throat was hurting and he was extremely cold, but he was too tired to go to his bed.
"Are you getting sick?" Cheng Hao put his palm on the actor's forehead and felt he was indeed a bit hot. "You have a fever," he said worriedly before rushing upstairs to bring a blanket.
He covered the shivering actor with the blanket and moved to the kitchen to cook some herbal tea. There was a special tea recipe for sore throat he learnt from his mother and luckily, all the ingredients were present in the kitchen thanks to Li Jun. So, the bodyguard transformed into a doctor and started to prepare the tea.
"Here, drink this," Cheng Hao helped Luo Hua to sit and handed the cup to his cold hands, "it is very helpful for sore throat."
The sick actor looked at the cup in his hands alienly. It was just five days they spent together, but the bodyguard was very caring towards him, making the actor flabbergasted as he was not used to being taken care of.
As the silence prolonged and the actor didn't taste the tea, Cheng Hao sat on the edge of the sofa and said "why don't you drink? I assure you it tastes pretty good."
Hearing the worrying voice, Luo Hua snapped out of his pitiful thoughts. He took a big sip from the cup and felt the warm beverage soothing his hurting throat.
"Wow, it is a magic tea!" He exclaimed with a soft smile, trying to show his appreciation.
It worked as the bodyguard smiled back at him. After being sure that Luo Hua was drinking the tea, Cheng Hao went back to the kitchen to prepare a simple porridge as Luo Hua couldn't take any pills on an empty stomach.
