Han Suk kyu stepped out from his vehicle in his  debonair black suit. He was immediately assaulted by the glaring lights of the red carpet and cameras.  What was missing this year was the welcoming noise from the crowd behind the red carpet line who would have been patiently waiting for hours to see the arrival of their favorite actors donned in their best gala attire. It was the annual year end awards ceremony and although Han Suk Kyu had been to these events numerous times in several years of his career in the entertainment industry, he was still looking forward to it. Not because he may be winning an award but because it was the only time of the year where most of his fellow actors and other personnel in the business would be in one place together and he could catch up with them. He was glad that the company had push through with event despite the strict regulations knowing many were looking forward to it.

After his photo op he was led towards inside of the building to the designated table where the cast and crew of the Romantic Doctor drama would be seated. On the table already there were Director Yoo In-Sik, Im Won Hee and Yoon Na Moo. Immediately they stood up to greet one another and started talking like old friends who haven't seen in each other for a while. After sometime the number of people in their table grew. Jin Kyeong arrived looking very regal, Shin Dong Wook and Kim Joo Hun almost arrived at the same time. So Joo Yeon came looking very pretty. Then the man of the hour Ahn Hyo Seop arrived and received a lot of teasing and congratulatory from his colleagues. His face was turning red embarrassed from all the praises he was getting. So typical of him Han Suk Kyu thought but he couldn't be more proud of the young man who started off in the series with a lot of doubt on himself. They often exchanged messages to check on each other's well being during the peak of the pandemic and as Hyo Seop never failed to thank him for his mentoring and fatherly advise after he won his awards. Han Suk Kyu knew this talented boy will go places and Jin Kyeong couldn't agree more after he shared his thoughts with her.

Suddenly there was a tap on his shoulder. Turning around he was faced with the beautiful Lee Sung Kyung with her mask down smiling at him. She greeted him and Jin Kyeong  who was seated beside him before she settled on her seat and greeted everyone else who returned it with enthusiasm and congratulated her on her win too. Kim Min Jae came by their table to greet everyone too as he had to be seated on a different table. Han Suk Kyu couldn't contain the smile on his face seeing everyone on table talking and reminiscing. How time flies and that's why he liked to treasure these moments and commit them to memory but mostly his attention tonight was drawn to the lead couple of their drama. Just earlier when Sung Kyung came to him he noticed something was different about her. He might say it's what women called it as a "love glow". He remembered one time while they were shooting he was was surprised that Sung Kyung as lovely as she was shared with him she had insecurities in finding love. She said men were usually intimidated with her height, her work or her in general. Suk Kyu thought that was bullshit and told her bluntly too. If those men were only good in looking for excuses, cannot commit and grew a pair then they weren't real men at all and didn't deserved her. She laughed and promised him she would find the one that wouldn't need any excuse or reason to date her.

Seeing that unusual sparkle in her eyes and  that captivating glow in her face he'd conclude that indeed this young lady might be holding a secret.  It seemed that her secret was unraveling before him too as from across the table his protege was mirroring the same look in his eyes that were glued to her. Although there wasn't any skinship between the two he could feel the tension surrounding them and their actions were like magnets she moves, he moves and both were constantly leaning towards each other whispering and giggling and seemed to be encased in their own bubble. Was he the only one noticing this? Or was he the last one to know about this? He looked around the table once again but this time trying to gauge the reaction of everyone seated. Yet, everyone was busy with their own conversations and wasn't minding the couple one bit. It's time to ask the big gun, the mother hen of the group..Jin Kyeong. If someone should know about these things it's her. She's everyone's go to person.
