Ahn Hyo Seop  threw the script on the floor and sighed.

It was the fourth one.

It was another romantic comedy.

Remembering the scenes he couldn't help but chuckle though that three out of the four scripts he just read the male leads were the overly obedient type.

He shook his head thinking, how could guys be these whipped? Do they really exist out there?

Reclining on his sofa while looking out the window the sky was cloudy and it was starting to rain. The current temperature was still cold but the signs of spring was showing. Some trees began to grow their leaves, flowering plants were budding. Splashes of color after a white winter was coming back to life.

He enjoyed this rare time he wasn't out and about and instead enjoying the quiet warmth of his home.

And his Biblee sitting on the floor beside him wearing  just an oversized shirt with her long flawless legs exposed, her hair in a messy bun, ear pods on surrounded by unread scripts and currently painting her toe nails.

she was most likely listening to their drama's soundtrack as she was currently humming along to Baekhyun's My Love.

With her brows furrowed and her tongue peeking out from her lips in concentration he found her too adorable and very distracting.

He needed  to get closer.

He moved himself to sit behind her on the floor with his long legs on either side of her. He kissed her nape, hug her tight and buried his face in her neck

She smelled of vanilla,citrus...and home.

She giggled.

"What are you doing? You are supposed to help me read the scripts and choose a new project you know."

He wasn't about to tell her that he wasn't really keen on reading a romantic script that featured her as the main lead.

"Well  I don't think you're doing your part either miss and you're  distracting me." He told her instead.

"What did I do?"

He smiled in her neck.

"Just being you."

She turned to him and gave him  a quick peck on the lips.

He tried to hold her face wanting to have more.

"Nuh uh. Later buddy i'm not yet done with my toes."

He pouted..but nope Lee Sung Kyung Shi was determined to finish what she's doing.

Women.

So wanting to be the good guy he moved in front of her  took the brush from her and started doing the remaining of her toes.

"awww..thank you baby!"

That earned him a resounding kiss on the cheek.

And then there's just them her humming and the occasional sound of their pets.

Until

"Hey Hyo Seopie, let's have the steak we tried last week for dinner. They're absolutely delicious!"

He stopped.

Almost done with her  left Pinky toe.

That restaurant wasn't doing deliveries.

He looked at her like she's crazy..it was now raining heavily outside and glancing at the Clock traffic was hell at this hour too.

He took a deep breath.

"But um, baby it will take me an hour to buy those at this time you know.."

She look at him with those mesmerising hazel eyes and..smiled.

"I know babe, I can wait..it would be so worth it!"

Another deep breath..tread carefully Ahn Hyo Seop he told himself.

"Umm..hey babe how about we try cooking it? I have a freshly bought wagyu beef in the fridge. I'm sure we can recreate it. Maybe even better!" He said trying to sound as enthusiastic as he could.

Hazel eyes now got a deep knitted brow.

"But I want THAT steak Paul"

Uh-oh.

Did he really want to provoke a dormant volcano?

Defeated he sighed deeply.

"Yes Love, going going."

"Yay! Thank you baby!"

Now hazel eyes was beaming.

How could he say no to that?

He stood up..ready to gear up and take on the Seoul rain and traffic.

"Hey baby.." She called out sounding sweet.

He stopped in his tracks.

Oh no..now what?

He turned to look at her. Now Hazel eyes got a pout on her lips.

"My pinky toe is not done.."

Suddenly, understanding dawned on him.

Whipped.

He was just the clueless one. Truth was, the scriptwriters knew a thing or two after all.
