Catherine told us that we were to blend in and not cause any suspicions. I went straight to the cafeteria with Mike since I had skipped breakfast and was very hungry. Almost immediately a group of girls walked up to me.

"Heyy," said the lead girl flirtatiously. "I haven't seen you around. What's your name?"

"Uh, my name's Ben. I'm a new student here."

"Do you wanna sit with us?" She asked. I looked at Mike desperately for help but he just shrugged and grinned.

"Okay," I said. They smiled and dragged me away. I quickly wolfed down my breakfast so that I could get away and ran up the stairs. Apparently, they still wanted to talk to me, so they chased after me. For some reason, I felt if they caught me, they would do more than just talk. So I ran faster. I burst into my room and locked the door behind me. A few seconds later, the girls came up the stairs and looked around.

What happened next was crazy. I think what happened was Catherine heard me running up the stairs, so she thought I was in danger and alerted the rest of the gang. They thought the girls were the enemy and basically captured them and beat them up. Once they realized they weren't enemy agents, they apologized and let them go with broken arms and confused minds.

"So why did you think a group of girls were enemy agents?" I asked.

"We can't rule anything out. Also, why were you running from them? That added to the equation," Cyrus said.

"Um, well, uh, no reason?" I said.

"I know why," Mike said. "Cause he didn't want them to, like, kiss him or something so he was running." Everybody looked at me. I blushed and nodded. Catherine grinned.

"Teenage hormones, nothing to be ashamed about Benjamin. In fact, I understand why they wanted you."

"Why?" I asked.

"For starters, you're very handsome and cute. I bet any of the girls in this room would like to be with you." Erica glared at Catherine and Zoe looked away. I wondered if that was true. I just decided to go off to my room before things escalated.

After about a minute, I heard the door creak open. I jumped up, fearing an assassin, but it was just Erica.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"I just wanted to confess something," Erica replied.

"The great Erica Hale confessing something? Is this a dream?" I asked, pinching myself. I didn't wake up. She smiled.

"You think I'm great?"

"Um, yeah, well, no, um, yeah, um-" I was interrupted by Erica giggling. Erica Hale giggled? "Who are you and what have you done with Erica?" I asked.

"I am Erica," Erica said. "Okay. The thing I needed to tell you is: I like you."

"Wait. You like me? Like as a friend, right?"

"No. More than that?"

"You're joking."

"No, I'm not."

"Why would you like me?"

"Well, as Catherine said, you are cute. Also, you're funny and kind, but most of all, you're as good of a spy as I am."

"No way. You are way better than me at spying. Also, I still think this is all just a trick or something. Usually, you wouldn't just come up to someone and say you like them."

"True. But I really do like you. And I can prove it." She leapt at me, pinning me to my bed and kissing me on the lips. I was so surprised, my heart literally stopped beating for a second. The kiss lasted way less than I wanted, though, but it was enough. She smiled seductively at me and walked outside, leaving me in shock.

I stumbled outside, meeting Mike and Zoe to place bugs inside Chris's room.

"Are you okay, Ben? You look like you just woke up." Mike asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit dazed."

"Did something happen with Erica? We saw her going into your room," Mike said, winking. For some reason, Zoe didn't seem happy when he said that.

"Uh, nothing happened," I said.

"Why did she go inside your room then?" Mike asked.

"Um, no reason," I fumbled for an excuse.

"I know something happened in there, but I'll be nice and not push you," Mike grinned. We snuck inside Chris's room, making sure he wasn't there and placed a couple of bugs around the room, on the ceiling, by his bed, even in the closet. Suddenly, Jawa burst in.

"Guys! Catherine's got a lead on one of the bugs! She told it to me on my walkie! The suspect just left the building and is driving away. We need to tail them!" We all jumped up and ran outside. If I had more time, I would have realized that Catherine didn't place the bugs yet.
