Run away

Dear mother,

I am going away for a while, I do not know how long I will be gone. I could be gone for months or possibly years. I am writing this letter to you to let you know that I love you and to not wait for me when the sun arises. By the time you receive this I will already be gone but do not worry I shall be back soon. I am leaving to make a better life for myself, I hope you are not displeased by this. I do not want to disappoint anyone any more than I already have. Thank you for reading this mother and don't think too rash about this, it is a firm decision that i have chosen. The future is very bright.

I read over the contents of the letter once more. When I feel I have written enough I put the quill down. I'm not sure how my mother will feel when she reads this but hopefully she doesn't do anything too reckless. I put the letter in the envelope and set it down on my desk. At last I put my crown next to it. I go to my closet to find clothes that no one would expect the crowned prince to wear. I put the clothes on and grab my bow. I make sure to grab my quiver and enough arrows to last me for a while considering I don't know how long I will be gone for.

"Goodbye," I say quietly to no one in particular. I really will miss this place. I have so many memories yet it doesn't feel like home. I must find a place that is fit for me. A place where I feel like I belong. I didn't take anything with me because I know that if I do I will look suspicious. No one outside of the palace has seen my face. At a young age my parents thought it would be best if no one outside knew what I look like. They said that it would protect me but all it does is make me feel like I can't get to know the people in my own kingdom.

I decide to sneak out through the back gate since it leads to the woods and the guards have ten minutes in between shifts. I go over to the area near the gate and wait behind a pillar. The guards should be shifting in about five minutes so I just wait it out.

The guards move from their spots to go inside the guards quarters. I take this as my chance and make a run for it. I ran past the gate into the woods. I ran and ran until I was far enough away from the palace. I stop for a few minutes to catch my breath. I can't see anything because of the night and the thick trees stopping any light from leaking in. I figured that I should just wait the night out and find somewhere to stay in the morning.

I wake up all of a sudden when I hear a noise. I look around to see what made the noise and quickly grab my bow. Suddenly I see someone come out from a patch of thick trees holding two water buckets. I hid behind a tree to make sure the person didn't see me. I slowly peaked my head out to see who the person was. Once I saw the person's face I swear my heart skipped a beat. I saw the most beautiful man I had ever seen. While I was stuck in a trance examining the beautiful man's face I accidentally stepped on a stick and it made a cracking sound. All of a sudden another person came out of nowhere and everything went black.

"Where did he come from?" I heard someone ask. I tried to make out the voice but I couldn't. "I'm not sure" another voice said " he doesn't look like he's from around here". I start to slowly blink my eyes so I can see who's talking. "I think he's waking up," the first voice said. I then opened my eyes to see two people staring at me. One of them was the beautiful man I had seen earlier. He had beautiful honey colored eyes and blue hair that looked like it had been dyed that color. The other was a man who looked to be around the same age as the other. He had black hair and chocolate eyes that I could drown in. I was confused as to where I was and why these two attractive people had captured me. "Who are you and what are you doing in this part of the woods alone?" black haired man said. His voice was smooth yet rough at the same time. "I-I'm Renjun and I was just passing through" I replied with a raspy voice due to me just waking up. "Everyone knows that this is our pack's territory," the other said. "Pack?" I asked, confused by the word pack. " Didn't your parents ever teach you about us?" the Honey eyed asked with a cold look on his face. " what do you mean about you?" I answered even more confused than before. "He really doesn't know, does he?" the honey eyed said to the other man "just tell him," the black haired man responded. The man sighed "We are werewolves and this part of the woods is our territory" the honey eyed said. At that point I was so confused and scared that I just couldn't say anything. "So now that you're here you aren't going to be able to leave until we say you can," The honey eyed man said getting closer to my face the more he spoke. I could feel the blush on my face. I was scared but intrigued by these people. Not only were they good-looking but they were also dominant werewolves. They are telling me that I can't leave but in all honesty where else would I go. I have a feeling this is going to be interesting. "C-Can I at least know your n-names if I'm staying h-here?" I ask secretly cursing myself for stuttering. "I guess since you're stuck with us might as well tell you our names," he said "I'm Jaemin and this is Jeno". Jaemin and Jeno I kept replaying in my head. They even have beautiful names.

After that whole name thing Jaemin told Jeno to grab me and follow him. As we were walking the only thing I could think about was the fact that I've been captured by two extremely attractive people and that I was being held by one of them. I don't know why but I feel all weird around them. They make me feel like I'm in heaven and hell at the same time.

We reached this big gate that looked like the ones you hear about in stories. Jaemin pulled open the gate and Jeno took me through it. Once we were inside I looked around and noticed that there was a whole village in here. I was soon brought to what looked to be a mini castle. It was made completely out of stone and looked like it cost a fortune to build. They took me inside of it and immediately four people who looked like servants came up to us. They started asking questions to Jaemin and Jeno. They asked stuff like "are you okay" and "who is this". Jeno told them to stop asking questions so they bowed and moved to the side so we could walk through.

I was then taken to a very modern looking room. The room had one large bed and there were many dark colored things. There was a bookshelf on one of the walls that was full of books that were mainly shakespeare. 'I didn't know they still made those' I thought to myself. There was a door on the left corner of the wall in front of the bed. There was a dresser on the wall opposite the bookshelf. Over all the room looked very nice and comfortable.
