I've been awake for days.i completely lost count at this point that's how bad it's gotten
I still can let go of the fact that my dad..peter quill is dating another women that's not my mother...

A flashback from few days before:

It was the middle of the night and I couldn't sleep no surprise there.So I went to go get a glass of water and I heard whispering coming from the kitchen...
It was my dad and Gamora talking it seemed pretty serious so me being the curious person I am I got closer to hear what they were saying.

"She's just a kid gamora!"
"A kid who's stronger then you!"
"I highly doubt she's stronger then me."
"You sure about that?"

Gamora always has my back haha take that dad she thinks I'm capable of being a Guardian.

"Quill! Thanos is coming for the stones and if we done do something about it he will retrieve all 6 of them and with the snap of his fingers he'll wipe half of the universe so please just listen." Gamoras eyes started to tear up.

"Alright I'll listen I guess." You can tell your dads annoyed with Gamora but you choose not to interfere.

"I need to ask a favour quill."
"Yea sure"
"If things go wrong...if thanos gets me I want you to promise you'll kill me..."

I was shocked of what I just heard I knew about thanos but I didn't think to much of it because my dad didn't want me anywhere near the situation.My dad stayed silent while tears formed in his eyes I didn't want him to kill Gamora and by the looks of it he didn't either...

"W-what..?" You can hear the sadness in your dads voice.
"I know something he doesn't just promise me please peter."
"What is it?"
"If I told you what it is you'd die too."
"Why does somebody always have to die in this scenario?" Your fathers voice got stronger it wasn't so shaken up anymore.
"Just trust me...and possibly kill me."
"I-i mean I really would but-" he was cut off by gamora who put her hand over his mouth.
"Swear to me quill ,swear to me on your mother." She said while a tear streamed down her face.while quill was just silent
"I swear..."
I couldn't believe my dad just agreed to that...if thanos got gamora he will kill her?!
Right as I was about to leave I see gamora leaning into my dad and they started to kiss.
I feel tears sliding down my cheeks and I simply tiptoed back to my room,I never thought that he'd kiss someone other then my mother.
End of flashback:

It had been two days since I seen my dad kiss gamora,In those two days I've spent most of my time in my lab improving and fixing some of my gadgets also one of the rocket boosters on my shoes is shorting out here and there so I finally managed to repair it.My dad came to check up on my once in awhile but I just ignored him like I always do when I'm in my lab.
"Y/n!!" I look up and I hear drax yelling my name.
"What?" I yell back.
"We'll be right back okay? We're just going to check something out!" I heard another voice yell back this time it was my dads.
"Okay have fun I guess." I say back.
I knew they were obviously lying they say that every time they're going to beat someone's *bleep*. they're totally going to fight thanos I know it.

A few hours later:

I was playing abba in my lab and all of the sudden I hear my dad yelling
"God damnit!" He said in an angry tone.
"Quill it's not your fault"drax said trying to calm him down.
"no drax it is my fault she told me to kill her if thanos got her and I didn't so I broke our promise!!"
"Quill it'll be alright." Mantis exclaimed.
How is she so happy all the time?!
I got out of my lab and I walk into the main area of the ship.
"What's going on?" I try to act like I don't know what's going on.
"Thanos took gamora!" Drax's face was boiling with rage.
"Now we gotta go find him right?"
"Not we,Us. I can't risk you getting hurt y/n."
"Would it kill you to let me help for once please dad just let me help."
"Quill I think she's right we need more help the three of us won't cut it." Mantis was actually getting pretty serious I'm surprised.
"Alright fine!"
"Thank you dad."
