6 Heros: A Refresh AU

Added Programming

   "Whatcha doin?" Fresh asked. At full power he was even more like a nuisance. Yup. Definitely a kid. 

   "What was Geno thinking when he programmed you?" Error mumbled under his breath and kept tweaking the program on the computer. All he had to do now was download it to the chip. 

   On the bright side Fresh seemed to shut up after that. His eyes went dark as he looked off to the side. Error looked up and grabbed the chip out of the computer. "Hey. . . Fresh?"

   Fresh blinked. "Huh?"

   Error rolled his eyes and pressed the button to open the access panel. There were two chips already in there leaving only two empty slots. "What's the other chip for?" He asked adding the new one in. 

   Fresh avoided the question. "Uh. . . bro how is all dis fighting supposed to help me?" 

   "We gotta catch the man who did this to Geno. The one that took my bots." Error spun in his chair to get back to the computer. 

   "Fighting isn't cool."

   "Sure." Error rolled his eyes. "Do it anyway."

   "Geno wouldn't-"

   Error spun around suddenly much more angry. "Don't you talk about Geno! You're just a robot!"

   Fresh flinched every so slightly but he shut up. Error didn't wanna talk. He gets that. "Alright."

   Error huffed and turned to get back to the armor part. Fresh is strong and all but his parts are very fragile. He'll need something stronger to protect him if they get into a real fight. 

   Fresh sat quietly and just let Error work. A part of his programming wished Geno was still her. Geno would know what to do. What would Geno do?

   "I'm sorry." 

   Error looked up. "Sorry?"

   "About Geno. 'M sorry." Fresh sighed softly. 

   Error frowned. Geno really did program him like a person. He was one of the smartest beings in the world. An engineering and robotics marvel. He had the knowledge a doctor had and yet. . . he was almost like a child still. Error still couldn't understand Geno. 

   "It's fine. Just stop talking about him." Error just got back to work.
