I seem to be walking in a empty corridor that stretches out into eternity. All I can hear are the echoing of my footsteps. Each step I take gives me a sinking feeling that I am more alone than I have ever been.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

I come to a stop when I see a light streaming through a doorway. I don't think twice. I open the door. I don't worry. I'm just curious.

I hear a pounding of a gavel and streams of voices all around meif you can call them voices at all. They sound more like streams of melodies that somehow miraculously harmonized perfectly. It wasn't a language I ever heard of and I couldn’t see the people or things speaking it.

I was filled with warmth and love that seemed to be emanating from the highest seat in the room. I felt kindness embrace me and I melted into a sense of safety and security. Then I heard one word that seemed to end it all.

Lucifer

I was hurled out of the room filled with light and music. I was flung out of a paradise that I never wanted to leave. Soon I found myself in a cold and damp place. All of a sudden I was overwhelmed with feelings or sorrow and yearning for the sensations I missed.

I gasped as a burning feeling that enveloped my left shoulder as if someone pierced my skin with a needle. A tattoo of my own blood:

The world started spinning in a whirl of darkness and I felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to die than remain in this god-forsaken place. As I begged to be release from this prison I heard a dark chilling laugh and a voice whispered into my ear.

“I am near.”
