The cups bros were surprised but they were even more surprised to know that he wants to fight them willingly.

Cuphead: Dice what's going on?

King Dice: that's king Dice for you and I am going to take your souls

Mugman: but why aren't we friends?

King Dice: why would I be friends with a coward crybaby

Mugman: you...didn't mean...that

King Dice:(looks at cuphead) and a greedy cup who always gets his brother's into trouble

Cuphead: I......

King Dice: not only that your even more pathetic than mugshot, you couldn't even handle the deptator on your own

Both of them seem to be emotionally hurt by it especially Cuphead but suddenly a change shot hit Dice but it didn't do anything to him. Mugman was furious

Mugman: nobody insults my brother and gets away with it .

Cuphead:(surprised) mugs calm down

King Dice: heheh now let's f--

Mugman: no I wouldn't. Let's knock some sense into our block head friend .

Neither Dice nor cuphead expect that from Mugman. Dice was hoping that he would make at least one of them hate him but it seems that it has done the exact opposite and encourages them.

Cuphead:(smiles) yea let's bring our friend back

Mugman POV

I parry the Dice and it rolls a two then we appear in another place where we meet a pile of alive poker chips . It's a good thing he told us about his crew during the time we hangout so we have at least some ideas about their powers. This one was easy to doge and shoot after defeating him we came back. Then cups rolls a two and we are safe . I roll again and got some health and a fight. This one is a crazy rabbit and we used the smoke bombs when the skull gets to us and parry the pink bubble heart then stands on the card and keep shooting with a few more charge shots and defeat him . Then cuphead rolls and get a 3 gets us some health.

Mugman: things are looking good so far

Cuphead: but it's not over yet

Dice POV

I was watching the boys fight king with Datch and Duke in the mind escape. I was expecting Duke to scold me or something but he just stay quiet and just watch but Datch on the other hand was angry at my decision. The boys were doing well but.....I still feel guilty seeing them shatter each and every time. It was quite between us until Duke broke it.

Duke: so let me get this straight

Dice:(looks at him)

Duke: you agree to kill the boys...

Dice:(nods)

Duke: and get their souls

Dice:(nods)

Duke: and the devil won't hurt Spade

Dice:(nods)

Duke: and you didn't expect that he might turn him/her/them into a demon

I stayed quiet because I didn't thought about it. Its true the devil might do that .......I am having second thoughts.

Dice: no...I didn't think about it...what are you trying to say?

Duke looks away from the screen and looks at me. His eyes were glowing purple brightly

Duke: your such a coward.
