MImi POV
After sitting outside for 40 minutes I finally calmed down. I was able to think clearly. I was able to think about what I want. And what I want is to quit Ballet.
I went in to grab my things and keep my head down so no one could ask me anything and left. Once I was outside the Main Office, I text my mom with details of my decision. She probably won't respond until tomorrow morning. Which is perfect, by then I would've dropped out of Ballet. She's probably really mad at me too, considering how I've ignored her calls and texts for the past 2 days. It doesn't matter, right now I'm going to put myself first.
Lulu POV
I know I should've been paying more attention to the conversation going on, but I am admiring Sofie's hair. Her hair is just perfect, but what also catches my attention was her long eyelashes. She in general is just perfect."Okay, but that's just a theory, you have no proof." Sofie's plump pink lips tell.I should stop staring before it gets creepy.
"I'll get proof!"Christoper yells at Sofie. I particularly don't like the way he reacted to her. I mean she is right, there is no proof.
"Chris, There were trained professionals there. You really think you're going to find something that wasn't there before." Sofie points out.
"Hell yeah! I'll go right now." Chris exclaims confidently as he stands up on the grass area we all were currently sitting on and pulls Mike up with him.
there's
"Dude, the classrooms are locked. There's no way you could just stroll in." Mike tells him."Well-" Christopher starts but then we see a familiar face.
"Mimi!" We all scream. She turns and smiles at our excitement. It was the first time since school started that I saw her genuinely smile.
"What did I miss." She asks as she sits next to me. She seems happier, must be because she came back from Dance, that usually made her feel better.
"Before I was interrupted, I was saying how I can get into the English building, without breaking in." Christopher continues where he left off.
Everyone gave him a look telling him to shut up. There is no telling how Mimi is going to react to his theory.
"Why in the hell would you want to go there," Mimi questions him with a puzzled look.
Sofie slaps the back of his head to shut him up. But he rubs the spot she hits and continues.
"Because I don't think he did it."
I mental cursed at him as I turned to see Mimi's reaction. Her eyes seem distant, like she is having some sort of flashback. Poor thing, I've never felt love for a boy like that. Seeing her hurt like this pains me. But something sparks in her eyes, and what she says next leaves us all in shock.
"Do you need a lookout?" she asks, looking him dead in the eye. We all were stunned, I thought she would yell at him. Even Christopher, who has been trying to persuade us for the last hour, looks surprised. His eyes shine with admiration towards her.
"Are you going to be okay? I don't want you near there if it's going to trigger something for you." he kindly tells her.
"When will people stop asking that?" she asks with an eye roll.
"Alright then let's go." Christopher states.
"Wait, first off, how are we going to get inside." Sofie asks.
" And what's going to be our excuse if we get caught." I question.
He thinks for a second. His face then forms a mischievous grin.
"We don't need one! Because we aren't going to get caught!" Christopher moans as he throws his hands in the air.
"Look last year, the tennis team thought it would be funny if we stole the master key." He tells us as he pulls Sofie off the ground. "We pass it around every once and while but over summer they wanted someone responsible to hold onto it-"
"Are you supposed to be the responsible one?" Mimi asks as Mike helps her up.
"Yes, I am and I still have it." He fires back and pulls from his back pocket a key.
"Holy shit!" Mike yells. "Put that away before you drop it."
"Look I'm just gonna go in, take a quick look and if I find nothing, I'll shut up." Christopher promises.
"And if you find something?" I ask him.
"Woah there, one step at a time, okay? Let's just get inside." He tells me as he walks towards the English building.
Mike and Mimi follow after him, leaving me and Sofie alone.
