Wilson's POV

The soft pitch of the low jazz music filled the room as I swept the floors with the large broom. The small ticks of the clock echoed through the room reminding me I was there alone, by myself. Aunt May had the shop close down early due to the examination the inspectors will give, it's not like we had any complaints, it was just a yearly thing due to health violations in other restaurants within the city. Bella and I were supposed to clean and close early together but her cat hasn't been feeling well lately so she said she would run home and give her cat some medication before coming back to evaluate the premises.

My eyes snapped from the ground as I heard loud laughter coming outside of the small bakery. A group of people walked by, dressed in crimson and gold, representing Denver University, laughing as they all clutched on one another. Their breaths leaving out puffs of smoke into the cold air. I sighed remembering Asher asking if I would go tonight. I remember telling Bells and her completely freaking out and insisting we go, and knowing that once she comes back, she will drag me with her.

It still struck me that Asher asked me to come to his game, well, if I would be there. He was quite handsome. I just didn't understand what the sudden interest was to speak to me. My eyes snapped away from the ground to the window where I heard loud knocking. "WILSON PETERS IT IS COLD OUTSIDE CAN YOU HURRY UP AND LET ME IN BEFORE I DRAG YOU OUT HERE WITH ME." I laughed quietly at Bella's loud screeching.

Opening the door, I laughed at the sight. She was covered with snow from head to toe, teeth chattering. She gave me an annoyed glance before walking in and thwacking my head. "Dummy." I looked behind her to make sure no one else was outside, before closing the door and hatching the locks. "I hope you're ready to go Willy because we ARE going tonight." As I was opening my mouth to let out reasons why we shouldn't go, she quickly cut me off. "No. Close your mouth. We're going." Giving me a pointed glance before grabbing my coat and rushing over to me.

"It's freezing outside so make sure you layer up okay!" I glanced up at Bella with my eyebrow raised as she was tucking in my hair into my beanie, tugging it down. "Bells. Are you-u done yet-t" I quietly laughed out. I flinched when her heavy hands slapped down on my shoulders before laughing as her eyes sparkled in excitement.

We walked to the front door, she grabbed the keys from my hands and locked up. I stood back watching her lock up, glancing around. I shivered when a big breeze hit me, tucking in my head deeper into the scarf. My eyes squeezed shut as the snow flew around my face. I wore contacts today, I don't know why, I just wanted to try something new. It was hard to put on but I honestly prefer my glasses over these right now.

Bella quickly ran over to me before grabbing my arm, dragging me to walk faster with her. My legs couldn't keep up with her long strides so it looked as if I was almost running alongside her. I mentally thanked whoever built the layout of the buildings because the Cafe was not so far from Denver University. I watched my feet as Bella rambled about the game and watching Chase play. Not noticing we were here, I quickly rammed into her when she came to a halt. She looked down at me, raising her eyebrow, smiling as I looked at her with guilty eyes. "Let's go!" She loudly exclaimed before pulling me up the steps.

My eyes scrunched as my ears were ringing with how loud the arena was. I glanced around as Bella pulled my arm, leading the way, looking at all the smiling faces while they screamed and howled at the court. We finally sat down to a spot she found, "Watch my jacket while I go get some popcorn okay babes!" Bella loudly yelled into my ear before running away. I sat down, looking around at everyone standing up, before focusing my gaze onto the court. All the players were standing at different sections. I assumed the ref was talking to them, probably a time out or something.
