An hour later, your phone is still blowing up and your best friend Melanie had messaged. She says "OMG TOM JUST SAID HE LOVED YOU". You stare at that message, unable to process this new information. He loved you. You open your camera roll and stare at your most recent photo in your camera roll. It was of you and Tom hugging tightly, both of you with plastered smiles on. You couldn't believe what you had heard.
You open your messages to Tom and write him a message saying "Hey, are you able to video call x". Your finger hovers over the send button, terrified that something bad could happen if you do send it. Your phone slips in your hand slightly and you press the send button. You instantly close your phone and put your hand over your mouth. Ding!
You take a deep breath and pick up your phone. It was Tom. "Hey Darling, I can't call right now x". Your heart sinks and you reply with "oh okay, not worries x". You really wanted to call him and talk about what he had said. You want to tell him how you fee but it didn't feel right to tell him by text. You put your phone down and start to well you with tears. Maybe he had only just said that to get the public to like him more? You realise that that definitely was not true because he was not that type of man. He was perfect.
You start cry because all you want to tell him is that your love him. You wipe the tears that had started to dribble down your face. You being to hear the pitter patter of rain hitting against the window. It becomes heavier and heavier until your in the middle heavy shower. In a strange way, the rain was very relaxing and calmed you down.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door. You clean yourself up quickly and get up. You walk over to the door with your hands in your hoodies large pocket. You open the door and look up. Your jaw drops to the ground.
