Toya and Yuna Dabezz "were" twins...Well yeah but as you read in some of the few chapters you'll get what I mean. The moment the story rises to shine bright-about both young girls only between the ages of 16-17 years of age. The girls are found very different from each other and it's still surprising how they both live in two very different world. Although Their Father and Mother think the reason they are this way is because they were born two different days.
Both Toya and Yuna are bright and very talented young girls. Yes, talented but still in different ways. Nevertheless they both loved each other for that reasons-even when they fought for very silly things and misunderstood.
The two girls lived in the city called La'Villanto. Named after A woman called by her very well known name Amanda de Villanto. Amanda's surname was called after an ancestor from her fathers side to whom was the founder and namer, along with her husband, who was a fine, rich but stingy man. Amanda was different and only had good intentions. The only thing her heart cried painfully for, was to fulfil her fathers last wish after his death—to name the place after her families name. Today the wish has come to life but she died before witnessing her last goal happen. After her husband lost his love he couldn't take it anymore and a week after his wife's death, he too died of a heart attack. This is a different story all together—but let us get back to the main characters...
Listen to the drums of the city La'Villanto. Hear the women's voices soft, now low the men. Voices of children playing and singing along with their family and friends. A great and fun day were everyone is celebrating the Festival anniversary of the day when Amanda de Villanto died as memory of a bravery and good deeds she made by helping so many poor children and people. That's what the festival is all about. To share what you have with others-Most importantly giving with love..because Love looks around to see who is in need of a comforter,brother or sister,mother or father and most of all a good Friend.
"That isn't everything, you said on the afternoon I brought to you a poem!"exclaimed Toya. "And my words slide like a ball of soap into the tub you used to rub your clothes."She said while giving Yuna her poem,although her hands were covered with foam. "Ummm...Well a poem isn't all there is to life," Yuna said with her gaze scanning the page once and immediately back to work when she noticed her mother coming their direction, with great joy as if she's about to explode if she doesn't tell them on time. "Yuna are you even listening?" Asked Toya angrily. "Shhhh..mom is coming our direction." She quickly alarmed her.
"Mom,you look happy-did something happen?"Asked Yuna."Oh yess just the right girls I wanted to share my joy to and sadness.Well I have wonderful news for you both."She said happily. "What's the news?"They asked at the same time. "You were both accepted at Villa Secondary High School!"
With both girls words being clenched smaller and smaller-they were no way happy after the news was told to them. This meant that they had to move to a different school, living behind all their friends. Although the other good news was that it was still in the same city so they didn't have to also move to a different house. Unless the father changes his mind, since he too has found a new job as an accountant.
Up long before dawn, Toya,Yuna and their first and only friend Ashley, who wore eye glasses
since she was born. Ashley is a girl with deep brown eyes. Got light pink skin,with black-curly short hair. Also called a nerd because she always reads books- which of course is her only hobby she got. So all three of them lay on their backs in the silent dark, and gaze at the bright stars in silence.
Then Toya broke the silence. "Ashley will you still be our friend even if we really not only move to a new school,but also a new house?" She said in a soft tone voice. But Ashley said nothing and immediately burst into tears at the fact that she'll end up alone and lonely if the twins really do leave. With Yuna at her left hand side and Toya at her right both hold Ashley's hand tightly and they too end up in tears.
