I look up from the shock. No animal creature in the traps, the traps weren't even closed. I get up and grab my gun. I walk out the gloomy closet out the room.

I walk into the kitchen and look out the smudge glass door to see the trap was closed at the door. It was the now shattered. That bird feeder was empty. I thought to see small tan pebbles scattered across the dirty grass.

Those birds couldn't have just eaten all the bird seeds like that in less than a day. Or they might've just been starving.

I look on the kitchen table to see that muffin recipe. I gasp. I run over and see the ingredients. That's why she only had baking ingredients and why she didn't want crumbs anywhere.

I turn the soft kitchen light on and rush over to the cabinets. I open them and take out all the ingredients. I place them down on the table and take a used sticky note grandmother wrote on. I rip only the sticky paper off and place the muffin ingredients on the wall.

I pressed the sticky pink strip of paper against the wall and the muffing ingredients. It was above the marble counter. I separated the dry ingredients and open the fridge. I open the fridge to feel the cold air hit my face. I get all the wet ingredients and place them down on the other side.

I hear a small faded click but ignored it. I closed the fridge and start the process. It was gluten-free. I don't know if that means anything but all the ingredients that had gluten said no gluten in them. I had this weird feeling that this muffin recipe is what this creature loves so much. Does this creature hate gluten? Will it kill it.

I was going to place the muffins near the trap or in it but I was afraid it would snap and it would have no arm. Plus maybe I would catch a creature but it probably wouldn't be that monster.

I make a mess and added all the dry ingredients together and the wet. I continue with no stop. I remember blueberries and grab them out of the fridge too. It must like blueberries, is this recipe even for the monster, or does grandma just love baking.

If she lives muffins then she wouldn't ordinarily put it in these demon books, I have to find the other books. I'm mortified that those books are in something or someone's hands right now. I don't know what's in the books but I know it was something evil.

I pull out the pans and the sheets. I pour the blueberry muffin batter into each hole. I turn the oven on and let it heat up. I should have let it heat up while I made this mess.

I clean the area up and walk back into my grandmother's room and into the big closet. I look at the cameras to see a figure. I was shocked to see it wave slowly. It was a different creature?! More than one?! It was kinda cute. It ran off like an animal on its fours. It had glowing eyes, it was a flash of yellow like a cat and human hybrid but no cat ears.... its ears were a bit pointy like an elf. It had a skeleton tail that went up the spine. It WAS apart on his spine. Dark brown hair and while goggles resting on the top. No shirt but pants, the pants were ripped but it was blue. He seemed a bit skinny-looking and pale. His legs were animal legs. Almost like a cat's legs. That's why it ran like that.

It was strange and a bit scary. I walk out and was hoping to see another missing item or something scattered dirty across the clean kitchen. It was that creature.... in my kitchen...... it smiled at me.
