This Christmas (TsukkiYama)

Tadashi's POV:

I can't believe that Christmas is already tomorrow. I snuggle closer to Tsukki as we sit on the couch relaxing. We had just finished wrapping the last of the presents for our friends and family and put them all under our tree. 'There are so many presents, our tree looks full!' I think happily and sigh.

"What's up Dashi?" Tsukki asks and rubs his hand on my side. I can't help but smile, "Nothing, I just love how our tree looks so full with all of the presents underneath it." I say as I look at the tree.

He hums in agreement and keeps rubbing my side gently. I love him so much. I can't believe that it's already been just over six years since we started dating. I snuggle up close to him, "I love you Tsukki." I say contently into his chest. "I love you too Dashi." He says and wraps both his arms around me.

"Do you want some hot chocolate Dashi?" Tsukki asks after a while. "Sure." I say and move so that he can get up. It doesn't take long for him to come back with two cups of hot chocolate with whipped cream on the top. Tsukki hands me the cup that is a penguin head and his cup is a dinosaur head.

I chuckle at our cups as I take mine, "Thank you Tsukki." I say and he sits back down. "You're welcome love." He says and I can't help but smile at that pet name. He hardly uses pet names like 'love' or 'babe' so I love when he does.

We sit in comfortable silence as we drink our hot chocolate and watch the snow falling gently outside through the window. Our fireplace is crackling lightly on the other side of the window away from our tree. It casts a soft light through the mostly dark room, the only other light being the lights from the tree. 'This is absolutely perfect.' I think and smile against my cup before I lay my head on Tsukki's shoulder.

"I have a present for you." Tsukki says quietly. "Well, I would hope so. Tomorrow is Christmas." I say and chuckle while looking up at him with a smirk on my face. He rolls his eyes, "I mean I have an early present for you that I want to give you now." He says and leans down to kiss me slowly.

"You didn't have to do that." I say after we break the kiss. "I wanted to." He says and kisses me again quickly before he gets up. He gets an ornament from the tree, "When did that get there? I don't remember putting that one on the tree." I say confused.

"I put it on the tree today." He says and I'm even more confused. "So, my early present is a new ornament?" I ask him confused. "Kind of." He says and stands in front of me on the couch.

I scoot forward and reach out for the ornament to look at it better, but he grabs my hand with his free hand. 'I'm so confused, why didn't he hand me the ornament?' I think to myself. Tsukki slowly gets down on his knee in front of me still holding my hand and I am utterly confused.

"Tadashi, I love you more than words can ever describe. The past six years have been the best years of my life and I hope that you will stay with me for the rest of our lives." He says and I put my other hand on his face. "Of course I will Kei." I say and smile at him.

He smiles at me and let's go of my hand. "Tadashi, you are undoubtably the most beautiful and loving person I have ever met. I am the luckiest man in the world to have you by my side." He says and pauses as he puts his now free hand on top of the ornament. He pulls the top and it opens up.

My mouth falls open as I stare at the ring that's inside of it. It's a simple silver band with a square cut emerald in the middle. I start tearing up immediately when my brain finally catches up to what's happening.

"Yamaguchi Tadashi, will you marry me?" He says and I lose it. I start crying as I shake my head 'Yes', "Y-yes" I manage to get out after a second. He smiles at me and takes the ring out of the ornament box. I give him my left hand and he slips the ring on my finger.

He joins me on the couch again and wraps his arms around me, resting his head on my shoulder after he kisses my cheek. I stare at the ring on my finger, "Tsukki, it's beautiful." I say after I calm down a bit.

"Not as beautiful as you but I'm glad you like it." He says as he looks at my hand from my shoulder. "I love it Tsukki and I love you so much." I say and kiss him gently. He grabs my left hand after our kiss and brings it up to his lips, kissing it gently.

"Would you like to cuddle, Mr. Tsukishima?" Tsukki asks me and smirks at me. I can't help but smile, "I like that sound of that and yes." I say and kiss him again before we lay down. "Tsukishima Tadashi, that has a nice ring to it." I say and nuzzle my face into his chest.

"Yes, I agree." He says and rubs my side with his hand while laying his other hand over my left hand that's laying on his chest.

The rest of the night we cuddle on the couch, sharing the occasional kiss and I can't help but smile. 'I am the luckiest man in the world. This Christmas has been the absolute best Christmas ever.' I think.
