As nuclear fire ends civilization on Planet X773, alien observers watch from orbit, bound by rules that forbid mercy. They will not save humanity. They will only save some. Taken from a dying world, the last survivors are not chosen for innocence or heroism, but for what comes after. Because extinction is not the end. It's an evaluation.

This story is a twist on most SciFi books. Instead of humanity being a victim or a diplomatic child the are the galactic bullies. This book will follow the race of a bipedal insect race that was nearly destroyed by human marines. Before destroying the last nest the humans built giant particle accelerators that constantly bombard the planet. Then they left. So be awesome and read the first chapter it explains it a little better.

Across the cold distances between stars, humanity spreads through the galaxy as the Sons of Supreme, warrior pilgrims in cathedral ships who believe God made them in His image and gave them the universe as their inheritance. Alien species watch in horror as these faithful conquerors advance not with weapons alone, but with hymns that shatter minds and certainty that burns away doubt like fire. From the perspective of beings made of questions, memory, and fear, humanity is not just dangerous but spiritually overwhelming, creatures whose absolute belief in their divine purpose makes them unstoppable. As humans claim system after system, the aliens must face a terrifying truth: they are not fighting an empire or an invasion, but a species that believes it is simply coming home to what was always meant to be theirs. In the darkness between worlds, the galaxy learns to fear not the weapons of mankind, but the hymns they sing while advancing toward their inheritance.

An #HFY story. The Galactic Concord's Military Combat Exhibition is meant to be a polite display of doctrine-an arena where species prove they're disciplined, fearless, and worthy of command contracts. Then Alex Parfitt arrives: a human competitor with shaking hands, relentless checklists, and the unmistakable look of someone who has already lived through ten disasters that haven't happened yet. The audience laughs... until she starts winning events she shouldn't be able to win. Until a "harmless" stress test turns into sabotage. Until the aliens realise the truth: humans don't conquer fear. They refine it, sharpen it, and aim it like a weapon. At a galactic combat exhibition designed to measure courage, one human competitor rewrites the scoring system-because Humanity doesn't run on bravery. It runs on weaponised anxiety. Content Warnings: Combat violence (non-graphic but intense). Psychological stress / panic symptoms (depicted as functional coping). Sabotage / attempted harm
