They came for me on the bridge after school. Losing both my dad and my ability to speak, along with having to attend a new school, was a numbing new reality. But it was after that first day of school when I met the brothers on the bridge... This short story is based off of a Christmas novel I wrote in 2020.

My life regrets up to date

Trying to escape a threat to her life and that of her parents, Danielle is forced to move in with her hot-headed cousin Paul. After a horrible relationship, a boyfriend is one thing she wasn't looking for but fate rarely listens. Along the way she meets Jacob and is sucked into a world of vampires and werewolves. With all these new elements in her life, the threat draws closer. Will she be able to save herself and the ones she loves?
