"Mark of an Apple Tree" is a rendition of the world-wide, well-known story "Anne of the Green Gables". It's set in modern times.

Anne Shirley Cuthbert has lived in Carmody for a majority of her life. Annie always had a passion for writing and a nack for drama, so her world turns upside down when her and her mom Marilla had to move to Avonlea, in the Prince Edwards Islands. She soon begans to develop a close set of friends and starts to truly enjoy life and high school at Avonlea. Particularly because of a certain someone... who we refer to as Gilbert Blythe.
