With the Ministry of Magic actively denying Voldemort's return, and Voldemort doing nothing to open their eyes, Aurora found her summer very boring. With nothing to do for months on end, there were times when Aurora felt like she was going to go stir crazy. On the last few weeks of vacation, Aurora and her neighbor and best friend Harry get attacked by dementors and brought to a secret Order where the few people who believe Harry are gathered.

Last year, Aurora Jackson discovered a whole other world beyond the neatly-kept lawns of Privet Drive and the worn bricks of Bekker Street. Hermione Granger had gone from the wizarding world after finding out that Ron had been cheating on her. She had written a note to Ginny and told her she would be back but she herself didn't know when.
