The Dead Boys Detective Agency takes on a new case and come to meet Crystal Palace. With her psychic abilities, she leads them to the case of a missing girl. Alongside their trusted human liason Aisling Rhodes they travel to Port Townsend. But things start happening around Aisling Rhodes that aren't as easily explained. Meanwhile she finds that her own secrets are crawling to the surface, especially upon the return of old friends and foes..

What if Charles was too late?

It is the year 3098. Cats rule most of the world, and mythical creatures have returned. A war is on the horizon, a war that could save the world, or destroy the world. Darkness is creeping, devouring the light. A king is on the rise, but will he be able to come out of his shell? He himself is not exactly " normal" as he is a Multi-Shifter a ability he has hidden from the world. Only his closest advisors know about his ability. Even they do not know the full extent of his ability. He goes to war, to try and come out of his shell. If/when he returns will he find his kingdom in tatters? All characters in this book are mine, and so is the plot.

After an accident on a case, the Cat King is split into each of his five lives: Tabby, Brown, Orange, Black and White. The Agency must find a way to put him back together again, while also tracking down a sorcerer who has been slicing ghosts from their spectral energy. --- This fic follows in my Catwin continuity, but you can read it as a standalone! What's important is that Edwin and Cat have been together nearly a year, Charles and Monty are dating, and Niko is the Night Nurse's assistant in Lost and Found. Cat has also died once and been reincarnated as a white cat.
