Two twins, Crystal and Alex are living their lives as usually until a freak storm hits that changes everything.

A bearded dragon is in a chemical spill and is destruction.

Quinn thinks today is like very other day, but boy is she wrong. It starts off with a gas leak, and ends with her unconscious and in a hospital. The seventeen year old orphan will have to fight for her life and the life of every other person under the age of twenty after a so called "disease" kills the majority of children and gives the survivors abilities that the government doesn't want the world to know about.
