Chiara ha sedici anni, sogna in grande e non vede l'ora di lasciare la sua città. Tuttavia il mondo da cui proviene è lontano anni luce dalla vita che sogna e, come se non bastasse, i suoi genitori scambiano la sua infelicità per patologia dissociativa e decidono di mandarla in analisi. PREFAZIONE Cosa faresti se un giorno all'improvviso diventassi un idolo e ti studiassero perfino a scuola? Quando è capitato a me, mi sono lasciata prendere dal panico. Era da quando avevo 14 anni che stavo scrivendo libri, ma non ne avevo mai pubblicato uno. Quindi questo libro è dedicato a chi perde tutte le battaglie come me e a chi mi aiuterà a vincerne almeno una, ovvero spiegare al mondo che Sfera non è quel mostro che tentano di dipingere in tanti. È tutto il contrario. È un bravo ragazzo, che ha avuto successo. E quando hai successo non sempre le cose vanno come te le aspetti. Questa è la storia di cosa succede quando ottieni quello che vuoi. Quindi te lo ripeto: tu cosa faresti se un giorno all'improvviso diventassi un idolo, ma soprattutto sei sicuro sia davvero quello che vuoi dalla vita?
