This short novel, 'Dark Souls: The First Flame', is a collection of short stories showing what Lordran, the city of lords, was like before the events of the original Dark Souls created by Fromsoftware. I am a long time fan of the series and have tried to include some of the lore, whilst creating my own bit of fiction around the four lords of the original game. None of these stories are cannon and are simply for a bit of fun.

With a past lost to the annals of time the Lord of Cinder, from a realm, an age, a world long forgotten, is called upon once again to fulfil his duty in a world unknown to him. Will he be successful and return to his slumber again? Or is it time for his wings to burn in anguish, the dark to awaken and the light fade into nothingness? ____________________________________ I do not own Dark Souls, Madoka Magica or some of the art shown.
