Truly, You are the Bestower," Aal-e-Imran [3:8] There are certain words you come across unexpectantly but then they don't leave you. For me, one such statement is this: "Once you have tasted the sweetness of faith, you will always recognise the bitterness of sins" The prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The one who accepted Allaah as a Lord, Islam as a religion and Muhammad as a Messenger, has tasted the sweetness of faith." [Muslim] But my book here is on the discovering the truth: of life and the Hereafter. And in doing so, learning and revelling in the love of the most Merciful Creator full of Rahma (blessings), the beauty of a religion so pure and a messenger (role model) of the best of characteristics, may it increase our faith, our guiding light.

"ان کی مثال جنھوں نے اللہ کے سوا اور مالک بنا لئے ہیں، مکڑی کی طرح ہے اس نے جالے کا گھر بنایا اور بیشک سب گھروں میں سب سے کمزور گھر مکڑی کا گھر ہے کیا اچھا ہوتا اگر یہ جانتے۔"

"اور ہم نے تورات میں ان پر یہ بات واجب کی تھی کہ جان بدلے جان کے اور آنکھ بدلے آنکھ کے اور ناک بدلے ناک کے اور کان بدلے کان کے اور دانت بدلے دانت کے اور خاص زخموں کا بھی بدلہ ہے پھر جو شخص اس کو معاف کردے تو وہ اس کے لیے کفارہ ہوجائے گا اور جو شخص خدا کے نازل کئے ہوئے کے موافق حکم نہ کرے سو ایسے لوگ ہی ظلم کرنے والے ہیں۔" ~𝐀𝐥_𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐡:𝟒𝟓 اس آیت میں بدلہ لینے کی آزادی دینے کے فوراً بعد معاف کر دینے کا کہا گیا ہے۔ ایسا کیوں کہ ایک طرف بدلہ لینے کی اجازت دے دی گئ لیکن دوسری طرف معاف کرنے کا کہا گیا ہے؟ بدلہ لینے کی اجازت دی گئ اس لیے کہ آپ کو یہ نہ لگے کہ آپ پر ظلم کیا جا رہا ہے۔ لیکن اگر بدلہ لینے میں آپ سے رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی زیادتی ہوگئ تو آپ کی پکڑ ہو جائے گی۔ کسی نے اگر آپ کو ایک تھپڑ مارا ہو تو آپ پلٹ کر دو تھپڑ بھی مار دیں گے تو بھی آپ کو لگے گا آپ پر ظلم کیا گیا ہے اور زیادتی کرنے کی وجہ سے آپ پکڑ میں بھی آجائیں گے اور جس سے آپ بدلہ لیں گے وہ پلٹ کر آپ کو جواب بھی دے گا، اس طرح بات بڑھے گی یعنی کہ فساد پھیلے گا اور ہمارا دین امن پسند دین ہے۔ جیسا کہ اس آیت میں لکھا ہے آپ معاف کردیں یہ آپ کے لئے کفارہ ہوگا مطلب کہ آپ کے معاف کر دینے کے بدلے اللہ آپ کے گناہ معاف کر دے گا۔ ~ 𝐙𝐨𝐡𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐡
