Izabella dwells in a poor rundown home in a deserted area with her darling mother, Melinda and silly father and beloved dog Christopher. She suffers a great deal of depression going into her sixteenth year of existence. But her rare flicker of happiness lies in the comfort and care of her family. But when her unknown grandmother creeps into the picture, her entire life changes in such drastic measures. The one thing that keeps her alive and hopeful gets tossed into question.
