Clara Harper has always had a difficult life. The loss of her mother, her alcoholic father (If you could call him that), but little does she know what lies ahead. Note: This is a story I wrote in 2019. In fact much of the work I will be posting initially will be a mix of new and old writing. However it is all my own, and there is a certain joy that comes with sharing your work, both old and new, that you can't find otherwise.

A collection of poems written by a teenager, young adult, young married couple and a mom. A woman that used a pen as the only weapon available to her. The entire purpose is to pull a golden thread through life with sadness, pain, being in love, anger, hate, uncertainty, intense joy, knowledge ... "My pen, my voice/My pen, my stem" gives commentary but also gave me a voice where silence was the accepted norm. "My pen, my voice/My pen, my stem" lewer kommentaar, maar het ook 'n stem gegee waar stilte die aanvaarde norm was.
