Lara ran away from her home in Louisiana when her mom kicked her out. Lara ended up in the swamps, taken in by an old woman who told her a story she'd never forget.

Nora is a teenage girl suffering from a multitude of disabilities. You can follow her through her walk through a school full of people who can't seem to leave her service dog, Loki, alone.

"Remember when we were voted cutest couple at the end of senior year? A lot has changed since then. Tell me- why did you come back?" Alex and Carrie have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Suffering through life in their poor, dumpy old town, they swore they'd bust out of there as soon as they could. But after high school, when Alex left without her, Carrie found herself a new sweetheart and a new life. "why are you doing this?" He asked, half annoyed and half in awe. the sun was setting slowly, I guess we were far enough from the city because a few stars poked from the sky. "doing what?" She asked, still absentmindedly looking to the sky, as if searching for something. "well, it's just this whole nice thing! how can you have so much care for things? and people that are terrible to you?"She shrugged and leaned back into the dinghy old car seat, that dreamlike expression still on her face. "well, if everyone in the whole world did one small thing, I'd think it could be enough to make a big change." she said with a. wistful smile. He didn't think he would ever understand this girls mind. but, he still said, "yeah" he said said with a slow nod. he turned back to her.
