Everything was great when Echogreen came back to her college. Things were looking up after she figured out what had happened in the months when she had been in the country, but supposedly she was still at the school. But when things start getting worse for Echo, first her dojo she owns starts to lose students, then her boyfriend breaks up with her, not to mention her little sister's car crash that leads her into a coma, Echo can't seem to find a break. (Standalone in the Dragon Girls series)

When Echogreen leaves for awhile to be able to breathe, she realizes that she can live on her own and that she doesn't need a man to help her. But she's married and she has children, so of course she has to come back home. When she does, she is met with something unexpected.

Echogreen the luminescent green Night Fury has just landed on Berk...right when Denÿaræ the Deathsong just fasted her Song Spell. This spell is designed to lure anyone to her sweet, sweet abode where her chrysalis amber and a slow death await. Hiccup and the Dragon Riders had just finished off with Denÿaræ's mother. Seeking revenge, Denÿaræ vows to get the Dragon Riders back. Echogreen learns of the plan. She can't let this dragon destroy the Riders, can she? Cover by me - not final

Echogreen is a Night Fury from islands away from Berk. Due to family and tribal problems, she was forced out of her tribe and made to live on Berk. There she stayed and created a life of her own. This is her story.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters in this book except for my OCs. Also, this book isn't written in German. Echogreen was having a normal, but hectic, week when she stumbled across a tablet that contained inscriptions. She couldn't understand them, but as she started to find other things that related to the tablet (such as fish she'd never seen before, a necklace made out of unknown materials, and a leather journal with the same language as the tablets), she started to realize something was up. It wasn't long before trouble revealed itself. An island had appeared seemingly out of nowhere, and from it came loud noises and worrying tremors. In the second installment of "Tests for an Empress", Echogreen has to find out why the island is here and how to eliminate the threat. If she doesn't, Berk will be gone.
