Asta flees the clover kingdom, on the verge of death, when the Dark Triad finds him. They take him under their wing, at first just because he could become a useful tool with the Anti-magic and all. But slowly, over the course of a couple months, the Dark Triads feelings change for Asta, and they suddenly start to care for him. Then, one day, Liebe, unable to keep quiet anymore, tells Asta about his past. Including about a certain someone who uses the devil that killed Licitas powers. Asta cannot stay anymore. So he flees in the night. He is, however, unsuccessful on his escape attempt, and now must deal with the consequences of his actions. Asta was send for a trial, the nobles and royals thinks that he is the reason of the elfs attacking the kingdom since he is devil possessed.
