Ardyce Holmes best friend Maru went missing last summer, something she's not easily forgotten even though she can't quite remember the exact conversation in the small diner right before she disappeared. This was written for the green belt round for Write to Rank 2023, where we were supposed to have a mash-up between sci-fi and action and I went with a post-apocalyptic setting where the achievements of the pre-apocalyptic society are being rediscovered. That's pretty much what those not familiar with the two series need to know, beyond the fact Sebastian and Maru are from Stardew and Arlo and Heidi from My Time, so the familial relationship is something created for the blending of these two fandom.
